ive always liked the idea of getting a tatoo but ive never got round to it. I dont want anything generic, i want to be original BUT, i dont want to be too outgoing cus it could end up looking like crap. If i did have something though it would have to be big and on my arms. It dosnt make sense to me when people have little ones in obscure places where they will hardly ever be seen.

Don't be afraid to get something that might be "out there". You just have to make sure you get a really good tattoo artist to do it and someone you trust. :)

hmm yes but be careful of wherer you put it. Sometimes they won't offer jobs if you have tattoos showing all over the place

that;s part of the reason i placed some of mine where i did. they are in places which can be seen when i want them to be and hidden when it is appropriate to do so. i love the fact that my koi sticks out a few inches from a short-sleeved shirt.

Well you think the greek myths are interesting, look into Norsic Mythology its much more of a warrior aspect.

If you mean Norwayish things, I'd understand..

But I'm not really the type of a warrior, I'm not someone who loves to kill and fight, I'm more someone of harmony, that's why I want to have a Yin Yang in my neck. The other few tats I want are just symbols that represent me.

My 2 Zodiac Signs, Sheep and Aquarius, A Star, something that I just like. An Ice Christal, because I'm a fan of Snow and Ice, and the wings on my forearms are because I'm just Angellic :D

I wouldn't be able to get a tattoo even if i wanted to, I'm allergic to something that's in the stuff. Got my arm all swollen up once, hurt like hell and the thing has just vanished from my skin now. (it was a real small one) But I don't really like tattoos that are really big, because they cover too much of your body and make it look ugly, small modest tattoos can look really good though, specially on the lower back (for women) and on the biceps for men.

I prefer Leny Barby!! But that by choice of porn stars. And Yes, I read all that stuff you mentioned too. Point is that its not my body I'm marking with that goat shit Pentagram, its yours, and it isn't my soul, its yours. If you don't believe in religion thats your choice also, but be careful, you may need GOD one day, then go cry to the goat, see what he gives you! Good luck with that. If you're happy that's cool bro! I prefer the bonsai tree, that shit is 3D and is hot! Oh and the chick, with the panorama view of her back is awsome too!

Good luck

Hmmm.. I've been thinking...

That pentagram I mentiond earlier...

I think I'm going to get it tatted upside down...

Or when I'm going to get it right side up, I'll walk on my hands fr the rest of my life...

Blasjr wrote:Bro, the Pentagram was a pagan symbol that was characterized by the Church during the Renaissance as Devil worshipers, but in reality has to do with The planet Venus Movement accross the sky, which form a perfect Pentagram, and hence Woman's Fertility. Reasons why Church did this, is to get ppl to leave Pagan religion and join Church. Most notable change was celebration of the Sabbath on Saturday's which the Church changed for the Romans (Roman Catholics) to Sunday, because they refused to give up celebrating their SUN GOD, so it was changed to Sunday. A small tidbit. To the new generation you use it as: Satanists use a pentagram with two points up, often inscribed in a double circle, with the head of a goat inside the pentagram. This is referred to as the Sigil of Baphomet. They use it much the same way as the Pythagoreans, as Tartaros means Hell in Christian terminology (the word is used as such in the Bible, referring to the place where the fallen angels are fettered). The Pythagorean Greek letters are most often replaced by the Hebrew letters לויתן forming the name Leviathan. Less esoteric LaVeyan Satanists use it as a sign of rebellion or religious identification, the three downward points symbolising rejection of the holy Trinity.

I agree here.

So There a bit of history for you. Kind of sad for you bro., I would really like for you to refocus, GOD will forgive you, open up your heart, and talk to him call him by his name YHVH (In hebrew) in english = GOD :) Don't know what the other guy is offering you, but GOD offers eternal life, the moment you mark your skin with that symbol, you're rejecting him, and he goes "Death Ears", which means you no longer have his blessings until you repent what you've done. Look up repent - strong word bro. Either way, best of luck...I feel I had to tell you this, you seem a bit lost...More Luv is what we need, not more hate!

But not here, exuse me but please no propaganda about the religion  :D If I can call it "propaganda" ofcourse :D

Lol!! I like that one sounds cool.

SuicideGrl is:

Exactly right, no religion, no sex, no politics!! So lets talk about tatoos

Hey i like tatoos, I like piercings, particularly when its strategicly placed (thigh, back, arms for men and women if you never want to wear short slevees at Corporate world again! I love those tiny ones behind the neck, where you lift the ladies hair and there it is). Major MNC's (Multi national Corps) make you cover them up, if you show them. No second warnings. Just be aware that what you do in your youth will affect you on later in life.

Signing of this thread...Take care guys

Had one done in armed forces, kind of symbolic for us, small 1 1/2" X 1 1/2" well placed

I'm fine with with just talking about tattoos..you're the one who brought up the religious topic

Anyways, I don't worry about not getting a job. The line of work I'm in (academia) doesn't really mind, and if you get full sleeves on your arms, like I want, a long-sleeved shirt will cover it up. Do that for the interviews and your fine :)

Those tats I want are really small and on places where you won't spot them. Ok, the wings could become a problem... but..

The ice christal I want on my wrist can be covered up with a bracelet or a sweatband, or just not hide, because it's just a little thing I want and it has no riligious meaning or something so...

And all the other ones are under my clothes or hair so...

Not to bad of a shop from what I see, some nice "Demonic" tattoos, their tribals aren't too bad either. I would give them a 8/10 as an overall shop.

I think it depends on who does it, what your painline is and other stuff like that....

You hear people say they cried when they got it, and some people thought it tickled

Yeah, certain pains are good I think. Like, when I used to work out a lot with weights and was wayyyyy stronger than I am now, I'd love the pain I'd get on really good lifting days.

I love that too - I love the day after you really push yourself, all your muscles seem really tight when you move and you feel ... stronger (lack of better word)
