im on a proxy and it wont let me. my school computers use lightspeed to block most sites but i find proxies and they usualy work cept when bf uses them and gets banned

well oasis is kinda dead lately at least the times i get on because when i go thief there is almost no trader/hunter/theifs out cept usualy at dw east gate and there lvl 80 and if there is a trader out he usualy 1* under lvl 40 or lvl 80 oasis is pretty much dead

SRO is a game for gold buying botters. If you are not a gold buying botter then you have little chance to compete. Not to mention it only happens once a week when I am at work yay. And if anyone was wondering it will be the Fortress Wars that will really kill SRO off. Kudos to joymax for capping the tax at 20%. If they had let it go all the way to 100% that is where the botters would have put it. But even 20% is to much really. And once the other towns forts get implemented I see plenty more people jumping the SRO ship.

Over all Joymax gets a B for content updates over the last year. But for customer service they get a N/A. And customer service is the more important. If they had customer service I and most of my friends would still be seriously playing the game and spending money on it. As is most of my friends don't play any more and I just get on to talk and job when server traffic is low.

1, great event and competition if only there was people on to play. 2nd war was a huge disappointment, only one tiny guild showed up to fight. Hopefully they'll realize it and change the times, or hopefully think more about the next fortress times for other towns.

To be honest while Fortress war is fun its not realy all its cracked up to be. The play of the FW is rather weighted towards euro pts as they have faster casts and a longer range. This makes it very hard for chinese players to make a big impact. On the older servers I could see how this would not be a big deal with the small number of euro charas, but on the newer servers I think it is rather unfair on the chinese chars. I mean there is not much a glaiver or blader can do if they are defending, even chinese nukers arent that good at defending as their slow cast time and shorter range than euro wiz mean alot of the time by the time you get a nuke off the person is already dead. Plus I think that the defences of the Fort are some what strange, the placement of the buff towers is rather odd, they are never quite close enough to were you need them to be so once again it benefits the range classes. Also i think if you are defending with a good guild and union it can be quite boring, on Venus the enemy never took more than 20k of the doors health meaning we were basicly just running around which isnt fun, I dont mind it for the first hour but after that it gets boring, I would rather go have a job war were we actualy have some pvp that just stand there and nuke.

I would much rather of had an in built GnG type pvp tornament every month with the winner getting an sp or gold prize than the fortress war. I think they should have implemented the 90 cap as well before the fortress war.

it seems like JM want to give up the updates and give us more content, however they are doing it wrong, they need to follow the same path as Ksro because the order they are updating in is not the correct one and creats unbalances in the game ie Euro being so overpowerd.

Maybe on older servers its different and more of a chalange but from my experience its rather boring and over rated, granted the taxes are good if you win but I have been spoken too by people who have low lvl chara that say the 20% tax is too much and makes it so hard for them to play. so maybe that was a misscalculation on Jms part. another thing that seems strange is the placement of the in fort defences, they have set areas of placement which seems rather pointless, if I am fortress commander I should beable to put things were I want, i should have a set number of items that i can place anywere.


I think while it is always good to have updates and Jm seems to be moving in the right direction in that regard, it is more important to get them in the correct order and at the right time. 90 cap would have added more to the game at this point than fortress war has done. Takla is too crowded to grind in on most servers and this fortress war does nothing to fix that problem, we should ahve had 90 cap before they eruo update and certainly before the fortress war, I dont see why we have to wait so long and have things in the wrong order.

Still happy bout it and it's been 3 days now :)

I will prolly stay happy about it it's fun not dieng so fast. And NOT dieing at all from any lvl 80 int and the most str's is fun too. And now I can actually kill lvl 80 str players.

That is why we all are on oracle in perfect world. Come on bloom you and I have been at this forever. We both know the servers start rotting the second they open. It is better now but in what? 6 months max you are gonna be back in the same situation. First people on all the new servers are the gold bots and the legits hoping they can get ahead and stay ahead of the player bots. Soon enough though they will all be the same lvl as you and outnumber you. Well that is if you all try to keep the straight and narrow. Though that no longer effects me in any way.

only thing i saw changed is that Zodiacs(biggest botterguild on Oasis) got sum BS text and a sign next to their grant name. i couldnt care less about this update. i dont got the idea i can ever take the fortress anyway.

3. Maybe i said 3 cause my guild (union) owns the fortress. We play on Babel so with the euros it is a pretty well balanced server. yes i think we have the most sun items but none the less it makes the chinese chars competitive with the euros. Today we lost the east gate of the fortress which really made the War tons more fun. Once inside it was pure carnage of 200+ people fighting for dear life. The buff stones that the castle owners get arent set perfectly for defending the castle gates but are in an ideal spot really for defending towers and obstacles as my guild found out today. I have Premium ticket, Honor buffs and with the 10% from the buff stones i am a bit hard to kill. This update is nice and for once it is cool we got it around the same time as kSRO. 90 cap would be nice since i have been 80 for like 8 months but with this FW update it really gives us something to work toward each week. Heck we had 16 LVL 5 guilds attack us today.

Got the perfect situation in Greece.

Gameplay wise, My comp blows and couldn't handle the lag and its too early for me so I couldn't particpate anyway.

Economy wise, KUWAIT owns the fortress...and I doubt any other guild can take it from them....the good thing is KUWAIT already had their entire guild in full SoSun before the wars even started (Check rev6 top 100 best sets). So theres nothing more they can actully do with the gold....and they keep it away from other bot guilds who could use it to grow stronger.

We all agree the time could be better, but you never know, JM might decide to change up the times for the other fortresses and allow a guild to sign up for only 1 of the fortress wars per week despite different times.

The concept is what's great about the FW. No safezones, rez > running back from rez point. Lots of people to get strategies with. I think you can actually kill another guilds camp and that will eliminate their respawn point so they die, but I am only assuming that.

If the defenders are bored, let them take out the door, and rush out. It's not that hard to do. Or if you can open the door that's even better.

Someone complained that it favours euros. Would you rather have a 1 on 1 pvp where only the sun people would ever win? Favouring euros ensures teamwork is the main deciding factor. It only favours euros because you let it favour euros. It's not like you can't get 20 chinese buffed and blessed and send them over to take out the gates without worrying at all... teamwork. It's not an update that lets sun botters have fun alone and demolish everyone. You can have 10 sun botters vs 20 euros and the euros can take them, and if sun botter guilds own the castles, then they obviously team up more than the opponents and therefore deserve it...even if they buy gold and bot.

The update was good but not everyone can particpate in the "update" which is a downfall. Also you need a REALLY good guild in order to take control/defend the castle. The taxes are always 24/7 maxed in Jangan so people can get rich very easy which is a scam :P. But the update is a neat feature to SRO and seeing legit guilds hold the fort against botting guilds is a great thing to see :)
