I got it to take my 18 digit CID, but it's not letting me past screen five to complete registration

I logged in on IE5 and still have that open, with the 100% success green check mark, with what seems to be my username and password showing, but when I type those into the same site on Firefox, it keeps rejecting my login. It does it in chinese, so I don't know if I have too many login attempts, or am having some other trouble. Thing is, there is no friendly looking password reminder link, so I guess I'll just have to stick with IE5.
Unless someone could post a password reminder site?

Also, I'm not having much trouble with the speed of downloads, sure several hundred megabytes of information takes some time. My whole problem is the multiple downloads I'm getting that do nothing once I have them.

Finally found a link that is the right size and is .rar (BitTorrent) and downloaded in less than 6 hours on DSL at http://www.srocn.com/download/index.asp need to scroll down almost to the bottom of the page and open the link called SROChina_rar_E1103 in Internet Explorer (Firefox not working for these).

There were some links higher in the page that turned out to be patches. I never ran the patches. That couldn't mess me up for logging into cSRO game could it?

well i got everythign set up but i get a c7 error so wtf is with that >< i spent over 1 week trying to get dls to work and the game dont work

Well I caught up to you Jimmy, I have a c7 error also, right where it usually says username password combination failed 3 of x times (unlike the rest of the world which has failed x of 3 times if they get 3 tries). I tried it more than the 6 times it let me go with the account that had a password with capitalized letters (sent an email requesting it be reset, but they likely couldn't read my email, or are busy enough to want to let me think that) before warning me I'd be disabled on the first account. On this new second account I get the c7 error maaaaany times until I weary of it and exit the login screen. Does cSRO startup program not run updater for patches, is that something I have to go find in the labyrinth of undecipherable download sites? I had found clues before of many differently version numbered smaller downloads so I'll go try those next.
Any knowledge anyone can share with those of us late to the chinese game?
What the heck is a c7 error and how do we fix it?

i dont usually trust other peoples uploads, but since im having a hosting problem il let it slide with a warning to downloaders...

Pestana links to a tidy solution write-up which is admirable, but I need a working link.
I wiped my system partition and did a complete reinstall of windows, dialed it in vanilla disabled AV and went to your link

I have made an account and installed the client, but when it's updating, it gives and error that Silkroad.exe client is damaged. What do I have to do?

I am letting it update before I hex it, but it takes 2 hours to update, and when it finally reaches 100%, it says:
C:\Program Files\cSro\Silkroad\sro_client is damaged, please try again.
And then it says something like: [ERROR]7

I've been trying to let it update for 10 hours now. What should I do? I already reinstalled it, but still no change.

I have some questions. I registered and am currently downloading the client.

1. Will the hex thing change all dialouge ingame to English? Like, quest information and skill descriptions? I'd like to know what I need to kill and what to get, and what skill does what. >.>
2. I used my real birthday for both the CID program and for registering. Am I boned, or can I still play without that reduction in xp? (even though I don't play very long on any game anyway, I'd like to know if push comes to shove I could play with 100% efficiency.)
3. What server has the most English-speaking people in your opinions? I'm only slightly bilingual in Spanish, so if someone were to talk to me in any other language I wouldn't understand, plus I intend to make a pure int bard, so I'm probably going to need a big party to hang with most of the time.
4. Does this interfere with isro? I mean, it makes sense if they're in the same folder, but what if I did something like "csro" for the chinese version? And before you ask, I don't feel like redownloading the crappy- I mean English version if something goes wrong.

i am now dowloading the client from file front by DAP program and it stopped then when i am going to start it to continue dowloading it says
