Welcome to my very on IRONMAN competition. Please take the time to view the guidelines and rules for this competition. There is a prize purse of 5 Million gold. Keep in mind that I dont want the prize money to get in the way of the fun and experience that this competition can bring. The prize money is there for your time and effort put into winning. So lets start with the rules

What is IRONMAN Competition?

The competition is where a group of people level up a character to a certain level and then fight to the death with that character in a series of brackets. There are special rules that go along with this that must be follow. I will get into those shortly, but this is the definition I have for this competition. It does not cost to enter so anyone can join and meet new people and maybe start off with a nice wallet.

Rules

The server will be played on Venice. So if you are interested you must Sign here the name of the character and your class.

You may use Europe or Chinese Characters

When the bracket starts your character must be level 20. No more

I will be giving the specific deadline to when the bracket starts. that is when your character must be level 20 and ready to duel.

You can only use self found/NPC shop gear only. Please obey this rule. I do realize that people can break this, but please respect the competition

No ItemMall gear. (Avatars/or any scrolls/premiums etc.)

There is a winners and a loser bracket that will be posted once the deadline for entries has been reached so if you want in you better sign up quick.

You can farm as much sp as you need. as long as you are geared and ready to duel at level 20.

The duel will be best out of 3 and I or a competition judge will state when you can start the duel. HP and MP pots are allowed.

The Duels will be outside of Jangan in a spot so heavy lag will not affect any duels. ( I cannot judge wether or not your lagging so please make your connection at its best when it is your turn to duel)

I will add rules later on when I can think of some. Please feel free to add in any 2 cents you may have that can make this a more enjoyable competition.

Prize pool: 5 Million

1st: 2.5 million
2nd: 1 million
3rd: 750,000
4th 500,000
5th: 250,000

Deadlines:

Last day for Registration: January 15th
Brackets posted: January 17th
begin leveling characters: January 17th (once brackets are posted)
First Bracket Match ( All Characters must be 20!): Febuary 1st

*More deadlines will be posted as the tournament progress

I encourage everyone to join and have a blast. This will be a great addition to the silkroad community and I hope to have these types of tournaments more often.

Euros will overpower..... u should have 2 brackets for both chinese and euro.... dont have them fight each other =/

not a bad idea. Let me see how many euros and chinese sign up and I can do a 5 million prize pool for a chinese and euro bracket. Thanks for the input

i think you should cut that rule ^
it doesnt matter if someone starts leveling now or later
and you can't check it..

i know its hard to check. but it really should take long to get to 20. i got to 10 in about 30 mins so. I believe a starting date is the easiest way to mediate the future arguments of someone having more time then another to farm

This competition sounds interesting. I think I might join it. With the level 20 cap, a Chinese character can have skills from all the masteries if he/she wants too.

Sounds fun gut you have to have allot of trust in the people that sign up, there are so many ways to cheat. But have funn I hope it is a success

i know but this community seems like they can handl a small competition without resorting to cheating. Lets get some signups! i want to start getting the bracket done as soon as possible

cheat: take a high lvl and delvl it.. as far as i know you can use all the higher lvl skills.

not a bad idea but i wanted it to be more of a experimental one first. 40 would make people not want to do it. 20 at least makes it doable in a decent time frame to make it more enjoyable
