Need help Computer issues
So my computer has started to be all silly and decide to start turning itself off.
This has never happend before today, it first did it this morning when I booted up sro, it kind of shuts down but doesnt fully shut down. The monitor goes into sleep mode but the tower is still on... however the display on my G15 freezes and wont change.
After it did it the first time I turned it back on and booted sro fine and have had it on all day with no problems... I got bored of sro and started playing some COD4 and had been playing for around 30 mins when it did it again.
I turned the machine back on and it worked fine untill I decided to boot up sro and now everytime I try to boot sro it turns itself off in the same way.
So I would like to know if anybody has any ideas as to what it might be, I was thinking myabe my GFX card is breaking but I am not sure. Would like some second oppinions before I take it out and try it with the onboard stuff.

Check the heat in your computer case. Take off the side of your case and check if the fans are working on your computer. Leave the case panel off and see if the problem keeps up. Sounds like you might have some type of hot graphics card and one of your fans is out or your ventilation is clogged. 2 cents.

I would suggest checking the graphics. Since the fortress update, SRO requires more graphics to run, so your drivers might be out of date causing VPU recover...and if your drivers don't have that you might end up with your problem. If not...check the processor temperature, my fan broke once and that kind of thing happened to me, where the processor shuts off with the power on.

I think you might be right on the over heating thing I have taken the side off my case and have turned up the fan speed of my graphics card and I am crrently playing with no problems.
I will clean my case out tomorrow and see if it helps.
I am using a XFX GeForce 7900Gs 600M xxx and the temp is idle at around 58-62C and then loads at 72C or around that mark, it does seem rather high but has always been that way I would assume.
With my fan speed set at 90% its playin sro at 64C

Agreed. The symptoms are overheat though. Probably just needs to get some compressed air and blow everything out if its dusty. Check those fans.

sounds like ur power supply is to blame and if not that then your gpu (graphics card) is over heating

well its been running now since I made this thread although i did stop playing sro a while ago.
it does turn on with no problems so i think its probably a heat issue, although I have never had this issue before today which I think is strange.
I will clean it all out tomorrow and see if that helps cool things down.
