Mind ta teach a noob?

I just started off with this great game last weekend(since it's free) and found it to be a great game. I started off choosing a male character with glavie and I am stucked at using glavie since then. Now I am a full str/glavie character and it's lvl 9.
Because I am a noob that I find it hard to understand the terms like "nukers","hybrid","level caps",wat is "weapon mastery" and what is "force mastery". Basically I have already read thru this

But i find it difficult to understand. I am kinda stupid and i am definitely an idiot on forum searching. So since there is so many kind person here maybe someone can teach me a thing or two by answering my questions and also anyone can teach me how to build my char(plan to be str/glavie). And wat is the max level for a character and max level of skill points that we would have. Till now I have up nothing of skill. Thank you very much[/b]

nuker = pure int who uses the lv 30 skill from a force such as flame wave arrow or thunderbolt.
Force = an element. We have fire,lightning,ice and force. Force is a healing force , it's the least used force cause it's not exactly needed right now , but when guild missions come I think it will be very vital to have healers.
level cap = the maximum lvl. In iSRO maximum lv is 70.
Weapon mastery = glavie/sword/bow. What's your ' weapon mastery ' ? My weapon mastery is ' Heuksal ' ( which is is glavie/spear )

There is no max in skillpoints you can gain. The gap between your 'mastery' and your own lvl is called the lvl gap. How greather this gap how more skillpoints gain , the smaller this gap the more xp you gain.
a - 2 mastery gap is: You are lv 10 , your HIGHEST mastery is lv 8. It does not matter if you have 5 lv 8 masteries or one. It's the highest that sets the mastery gap , not the ammount.

As for your build I would get these skills

Fire/str/glavie
pure str
Fire :
First skill , River fire force
Magical defense buff ( don't know name , description will tell you what skill it is )
Physical attack buff
Passive

Glavie
Wolf bite , take this skill to lv ~ 5. It's a terrible skill but will help you lv till lv 13 where you get
Soul spear, together with wolf bite you can make it to lv 19 where you get
Ghost Spear , and after that the lv 24 chain, which is a combo skill
so at lv 24 you will be using Soul spear , ghost spear , chain and River fire force.
Also get passive which adds HP.
Flying dragon flow is optional , I like it. But I think it's a waste to max them , since you only use it for pulling. Some times maxed can help if you have a runner in PvP to nail the sucker, but the skill isn't quite high dmg so someone of your same lvl wont fall with one hit.

Lightning can be used as a sub mastery for additional skills such as
Grasswalk , this will increase your speed , thus your grinding speed.
Magical attack buff , will make you do more dmg.
Parry increase buff
Passive.

I don't know what parry exactly is , but it sure does help me in the fight , cause I seem to do more dmg.

Optional is ice mastery for extra defense or Bow mastery for the hawk and passive , which will give you more Attack rating. More attack rating results in higher damage.

I am extremely glad for ur your help and kindness. Sorry for my sucky english if i must say. I read your post and that's everything I need to know within these week. Btw, Would like to ask you another thing whether you can assist me a bit. I am now trying to collect the stones for jyongheo and I couldn't find the place to look for his stones. Mind to share. Cause I found the quest post that teaches all the lvl's quest but never teach the way to solve and complete it. And also I would like to ask whether there is any way of reseeting the mastery skil in future?

My very thanks to both of you kind people And there is this funny question..apart from this many people are defined as bots and were also known as cheaters. Why so? wat is a bot? i read thru the forums and had a rough idea like some sort of automated procedures that doesn't require human interaction on the game. Why so? I am truely blur of this. I'd max Flying Dragon. Book 2 does a lot of damage.

OK..there is now another question I would like to ask. What do you guys mean by books.. Because it's confusing that would like to know more of it. So ShizKnight and woutR. Do you mind to tell me what books actually are. And It seems that there is more than one level to every skill. Do you mind telling me how many skills shud I add for each mastery. Thanks alot. And sorry for being such a noob

A skill is called a book. Every new skill is a new book. That's because if you look good, they all have a book icon. You're welcome

But after I look at it I realize for every skill there is more than 1 book. So how many book should I invest in. Please do enlighten me. Still a noob. As of now.. I am level 11 without any skill up my sleeve

there is a skill mastery cap of 300 btw = ur total amount of mastery lvl cant be over 300

I am now level 12 and I haven't up any of my skills. I post a topic where I learnt a lot from people who replied me but still it's quite hard for me to udnerstand completely. I am building a STR glavie character and I hope that there's any kind person out there willing to teach me step by step how to add my skill and what to up. For example, if not mistaken there a game called Ragnarok Online that I use to play(that I find it crappy now). Certain forums where they teach people on how to play the game they include in it flow chart. For example, Skill A add 5, Skill B add 3 , Skill C add 6. Or there is even some that draws it out like Skill A u need 3 to get to activate Skill C. Or something like tat. can anyone free and willing enough to do me this favour. I am a super noob if that's what I am. And I hope there's someone tat can do this and if there's any newbie in future then it be easier to see too..Thanks alot
