Bow skill question
Bow skill question
The skill: Demon Soul Arrow
says that there's an increase of 2.0 m. does that mean once you get that skill, it passively adds on to all your attacks? or just that particular skill?

yeah Sui! move! you're in the way! xD
anyway.
this is a passive timed skill
lasts 390 seconds on first level (4 minutes or so)
its basically a buff, once activated, any of you're bow attacks are able to be done from 2.0 meteres further away form your target.
i presume distance and time increase with its level too. liek most things

I see.
I am still waiting for an answer on Mind Concentration (pacheon mastery)
"hitting ratio" or "increased attack speed"
Wording does NOT make sense.
I put some points in it. Nothing noticable.
People in PVP use 3 arrow relay 10x faster than I do. But they don't have that bird either, so thats not it....
Something I am not seeing.

actually, this's another thing...
i have 2 chars, 1 male, 1 female... just cuz i wanna see the differences...
i dun treat them as ME... or extensions of me... but more like...a pet... hahaha...
how do you ppl treat your chars? as an materialization of your dreams? as friends?

meh... guess im just not gonna touch that,...
there's a lot of debate about attack rating and such, some think it's attack speed, others crit rate, ehatever. i think it's on the list of things that isn't implemented yet, like parry ratio.
or, i could be full of shit. either is possible.
@Monition: i play Sui in the true role-playing sense. when i'm playing her, unless i'm talking to guildies or forumites who KNOW me, i AM Sui. i act, talk, and fight as if i were a 5'10" female, who just so happens to be a killing machine. it's probably why i get hit on so much in game.
if you're ever in the chatroom with me, i almost always use "her" and "she" when using the little /me emote command, e.g.:
SuicideGrl thinks it's funny when guys are nice to her just because they think she's a hot goth girl in real life.
it makes the game more fun to me when i can try to do something as challenging as trying to think like a female is to me.

Lightning Bow user here... so I'll say what I notice.
Attack rating. This, I noticed a difference. The white eagle increases attack rating. With the white eagle, I notice that my range of damage was from (at that point, hunting chakjis) 130-190 damage. However, with the white eagle on, the range is reduced to 165-190 damage. I tried that again and undid the eagle skill, the range dropped back to 130-190 damage. I suppose attack rating brings your damage closer to your possible maximum. There was no noticeable difference in attack speed even with a level 6 white eagle now. Only what I described above.
Concentration increases parry ratio. Parry ratio does not mean that the monster will miss. Initially I thought it would mean that the the monster will hit you for less, as in opposition to attack rating. However, when I did try the skill, there was no significant reduction in the damage I'm taking. Wasted my SP there but I removed the skill anyway.
I think the skill that increases your range is really quite subjective. It basically increases range and allows you to shoot the monsters further away. As a Lightning Bow and a INT hybrid, it works well for me. Allows me to shoot further and take them down before coming near me at all. It saves me quite a lot of HP pots. I don't know if it is going to be useful for Ice Bow since you are able to slow them down.
