Yo guys

I just tried the 10 day trial [official] and Id like to check full WoW out on a private server.

I tried it before, but had a hard time with patches etc etc back then

anyways, Im in Europe, does it matter what WoW client / game I use to connect to a [the] private server? or does that only matter for the official servers @_@

I'm playing wowscape on the blizzxp one. It seems good so far, havent had any lag.

lol man if you got gold go to town and look for your class trainer there you cna get skills different realms do different stuff so i cant give you a to do guide but ya go to class trainer and learn some skills that is a good place to start read what they do and try to come out with an strat for pvp

I don't understand the fun in private servers

Theres no fun in a game wheres theres no challenge and everything is handed to you imo

Blizzlike has 3x exp rates and 2x drop rate, its close enough to the real WoW rates to enjoy it. Funserver has 60x exp rates, and 40x drop rate [to fast imo], and Blizzlike Highrate has 8x rates, and 6x drop rates. [it's ok, but things still go to fast imo] Then WoWnights has instant 70 unlimited gold all skills, full talents; everything handed to you >.< [if you ask for it enough] [worst if you're a nooby to WoW]

I read in the forums @ wowscape that the classes, specificaly Hunter, are heavily bugged on Blizzlike, and they even left Arcane shot out for the hunter class? :S thats the most damaging skill and really needed in the lower levels

Also the pets are bugged and you cant learn them skills

Sorry I didnt mean to b*tch and whine about it, its a private server, but Im really doubting on playing there now. hunter is the only class I really like.. <_<

Anyone playing a hunter on Blizzzlike atm that can confirm this?

I would try it myself but I still have my European trial installed and I don't want to deinstall it before the trial is over :oops:

a) The game is a bit too cartoonish for me so i don't have a massive amount of motivation and
b) i'm pretty much too ignorant about WoW to give you a good answer, but as a Hunter, i'll try to tell you if something is wrong when i play it more.

..and yeah the game is somewhat cartoonish, I always avoided playing it because of that lol

But after playing the trial for a few days I just got sucked straight into the game and I dont even know how that ever happened ~_~ There is nothing about WoW that makes me really enthusiastic but I still feel the need to play it now <_< ..pretty awkward

I just had a 'oh well' moment and I uninstalled the European trial and installed the US client for the private server, and it all works ^^

And I can confirm that Arcane shot does not work

In nearly every town there is a mailbox, you can click on it and a pop up screen will open, allowing you to check your ingame mail, or send out new mail

(within the same server afaik)

In the majoy cities you can ask guards to tell you where to mailbox in the city is located ^^

Im off for today now -late- but I will be on again tomorrow, and if you want I can give you a quick introduction to the game then with the little experience I have so far
