new update problems.

Ok, todays been really busy and I appriciate that, People want to see whats new and try it out ect... but.. wow, I cant get in. keep getting the "Disconnected to the server" message and when it finally gets passed that and fades out to black to get to the character select screan my game crashes with the "????" error...

I've tried this with 2 different accounts, reinstalled with manual patch and the same happens. Anyone Help?

Same with me. Ive been trying hella long and nothing happens. The ??? is not my main concern but i cant even get to the character select screen so is it just me or did they change the system requirments?

i just cant connect atall as simple as that lol im getting really pissed of with it now :banghead:

flipin upd8 makes SRO all popular all of a sudden and every one wants on :banghead:

dont think so? I know 3 people with this problem now. Exactly when the fade out happens to seclect your char, you get ????'d

My Silkroad updated and works just fine but my girlfriend is getting that same f**king error...We updated the drivers twice and tried a fix in the HOSTS file but nothing works....

Just tried beta nvidia Graphic drivers aswell... No Luck....

(this isnt an "Nvidia" problem as i'm aware of, somebody using ATI also has this problem.)

My bro got a video card and it never ever happens to him anymore. And the disconnected from server part is a real bitch. I tried a couple of times but gave up after a while The reason is disconnects you is because the other millions of people around the world are downloading the update and things get crowded and busy.

ahh, this fixed it for me:

Run the "sro_client.exe" and "Silkroad.exe" in compatibility mode for windows 2000. works like a charm.

hmm, media... Never used it, Are you sure you cant run thing in compatability mode? (Right click>> Properties>> Compatibility >> "Run in windows 2000 mode")

my prob. is different i cant pass the GameGuard.. its sux i realy want to play but i dont blame Joymax. but when the gameguard appears all i can do is retry and retry i got in once but i got disconnected by the server

Boy we sure have lots of problems with servers...Dont get me wrong Silkroad is a great game but there service sure sux

I get the same error. Just when the character screen is about to load, the launcher crashes. Every time. I haven't been able to play for three days now!

I know it's a free game and you shouldn't complain and all that, but this is REALLY starting to piss me off! Fix the problem ffs!

And running in compatibility mode doesn't help.
