You might have to wait a bit for it to appear. When I downlaoaded v1.139 form filefront, I was updating the client after I got the download, then the updates stoppped. Then the client wouldnt update and the start button was gone.

What you might have to do is either wait a while before you try again, or re-download the client over.

sometimes you have to connect to the main silkroad website before launching silkroad again

Keep starting the client until it appears. The problem is, AFAIK, caused by too many connections to the server.
