Post by Nemesis »

Would it bhe worth it, if going full int, to max fire, ice, and lighting and have no weapons skillz or is it a good idea to have weapons skills no matter what

if you wanna pvp alot you should also take weapon skills, I guess you mean a chinese char...if you got a euro for example a wizard you need a submasterie to increase your tanking ability with cleric or take warlock if you wanna go stun, sleep and decrease opponent's def and take him down then.
with only force masteries you are better for guild wars and fortress wars ^^
I suggest you to wear protector or garment

ok thanks for the advice, and it is a chinese char. Are you sure about prot or garment cause i was wearing garm be4 and some1 told me to wear either prot or armr. I thought i would need it for the xtra defense.

And what would be best for the skill trees light and what?

Iono what he talkin about up there, but yes you should go for armor/protector.

Garments are generally for Pure STR builds because they lack magical defense. Also you're probably going to be a nuker just have some bicheon with kd and stab, or heuksal for stun to be adequate at pvp, plus less boring. And max light for SPEED and your Magical Damage boost (must piercing force or w/e) ;D

Isidro, I agree that like xZhang_Liaox said, you should use either garment or protector, although I think that protector will be the best one. You will have cold maxed and you will have a lot of phys defence + snow shield that absorbs mp, so the 20% less mp usage of garments will be in good use. In counterpart, with fire maxed you will have also a lot of mag defense, so as both are equilibrated, then I suggest you to use either protector or garment. At the most, use armor for hunting and only that, armor for pvp with 90cold/90fire/90light build will not be a wise choice. These are my opinions.

The reason why weapon skills are recommended for pvp is...........Disabling moves. You need knockdown, knockback, stun, etc. As far as I know chinese nukes will not get these skills.

armor=high physical defense low magic defense
garment=high magic, low physical (+20% speed increase)
protector=middle of the 2 (+10% speed increase)

Chinese int nuker=high magic defense low physical defense

Its up to you. Just pic what you think will help you, there is no wrong answer.

Ok, thankyou all for your opinions.

My final question is what, in your opinion, would be the best full int build?

I am definitly maxing light but should i choose between fire and ice?

And if im using sword skillz and many other than is there any skillz that i dont need or a waste of time to sp farm for them?

All opinions are welcome, thanks.

Since there is a 300mastery cap that means you can have 3 maxed trees and 1 tree at lvl 30 for the 90cap. Most people are going max weapon/light/ice, but its up to you. You could be creative and do a 90/90/60/60 or something.

mandatory skills
knockdown
stab
passive
castle wall
any skill that does status like bleed/devision etc.
throw attack if you have extra sp, it does more damage then lion shout, but not necessary.

All opinions are welcome, thanks.
