Okay, so i poke around at all the forums and there's the stuff on hybrids. Me being a newbie i checked out a lot of builds... Pure Str/Glaive really was easy to use and helped me work on the controls of the game...
But then when i found these hybrid guides i decided to check one out... and man i start searing through everything quicker. But im still wondering about certain things to do for my hybrid... are these good choices?
1:2 Str/Int ratio
Heavy spear skill
Ice Imbue
Lightning Nukes
Fire Nuke secondary? Or invest in healing? Do both and farm like crazy?
I'm most interested in hearing opinions on the Ice imbue. I keep hearing fire this, fire that when choosing imbues since they dish out the most damage, but i'm wondering if Ice wouldn't be a solid choice because it locks the enemy in place?
Thanks for your help!
This a good hybrid build?

got myself a hybrid int spear char as well, but it's primarely fire based (more focused on dealing heavy dmg rather then low dmg and slowing mobs down).
i'm currently working on hybrid char to use both the fire as ice imbue, as i can both use phy as mag based attacks rather nicely i'm starting to think about using fire for mag based attacks and ice for phy based attacks.
so basicly my spear skills will use ice imbue later on, and my nukes will use fire imbue (and/or mix it up ofcourse).
but whatever makes your boat float dude, then just go with that
i would suggest using the fire imbue first and like me add the first level of the 2nd book of ice imbue later on.
