I have read somewhere that "those knowledge" comes in dreams. You think your dreaming but you're recalling your "past life" memories. Or something like that.
i dreamed i had the largest dick in the world
And how was waking up for you?
lol..
i didn't wake up, turned out to be reality

You could eat yourself, eventually it would regrow. And supposedly, although i've never tried, if you don't eat for a couple days you don't get hungry anymore; you just need to get over the initial hump.
true, but you will get weaker and eventually die, but in this case you'll only feel weak.

I will ask the old man if I am the only one who is immortal first. Thats kind of important for a while. Then take immortality even if I am the only one.
If you think about it , after being 28 year old for 50 years, people who know you would realize something is wrong and tell someone. That's a good century of painful observation and experimentation...so much unbelievable pain. I couldn't stand that in the beginning, I would rather get used to pain through a bunch of fatal accidents, so here is what I will do.
1. Graduate get a great job, house, lead a relatively normal life, maybe get married. Tell no one that I am imortal for at least 30 years.
2. In that time, the first 5-10 years I will develop photographic memory by practicing fast memorization day by day. 1 word the first day, 10 words the 2nd a paragraph within a week...soon photographic memory.
3. Humans are only limited by the materials that they are created from, tendons, bones, muscles. The knowledge you possess is theoretically unlimited, and thus, being able to evolve mentally is possible. So now that I have photographic memory, learn how to make EVERYTHING that is currently being made, or has ever been made. This way in a catastrophe that wipes out civilization I can recreate everything I need to move to a different planet..or recreate civilization.
4. I can't read nonstop for 50 years, so I guess I will have to do some physical activity at that time. So learn every martial arts, learn to pilot anything I want, drive anything I want, use any weapon. The purpose here is self defense. Once I get discovered I want to be able to run away instead of getting caught and experimented on for who knows how long.
5. It's probably been a good 50 years already, and I am either on the run because my family and friends ratted me out to the men in black or something...or I live a pretty carefree life, watching my friends die one by one and manipulating the new generation into disregarding my secret. Either way, I want more power. So I spend the next few decades...or centuries learning how to expand my cranial potential so I can use close to 100% of my brain. This probably includes a lot of "powers" which no one can tell you are humanly possible or not, but I guess eventually I can move objects with my mind and stuff.
6. Another few decades later, I can move electrons and subatomic particles at will, so I can pretty much dismantle you, turn you into hydrogen and burn you in 1 nanosecond flat. GG 100% brain utilization.
7. Whatever happens now, I am pretty much invulnerable because of all these highly developed powers, and because I know pretty much everything there is to know, I can develop whatever technology I need...I just make connections between principles super fast now...
8. Now that I am constantly bored, I can entertain myself any way I want..if you've seen Star Trek, I am probably on the level of the Que...or from Stargate, I've ascended...but no one can stop me from playing around. So I travel the huge galaxy doing anything I want...and I am never bored. Since I can't make anyone else immortal, I am either gathering the immortals that already exist, or making myself some real nice bio-robotic companions to entertain me for eternity.
Now that I've told you my plan, you can call those men in black on me...but I've already gotten past the first 4 steps in my plan and can take them on.
Boredom? Knowing everything on earth doesn't mean I can't go to another planet and learn some more there...and with all those galaxies, I am sure I can find a few habitable places...after all I can just drift to another planet if I wanted to it's not like time matters to me...I am sure I can figure out how to go into stasis without any contraptions too...*turns off brain until x happens*.
Now why wouldn't I want to be immortal under those conditions?

Even so, you cannot possibly imagine how it would suck for the world to end and you just float there doing nothing forever
Even animals learn from getting burned...I am sure you would realize relations with mortals are a waste of time. If there was god, that would probably be why she/he/it is not walking around.....and if you believe the Jesus story, you would realise why he didn't get reincarnated after his 2nd death.....Makes perfect sense....I am not christian btw, I just don't know enough about other religions to connect names and events.
And if you sleep while floating, you wouldn't even know a billion years passed in the first place!
You guys just don't want to be immortal because you are too lazy to spend an eternity learning one way or another. Frankly if I was genuinely offered immortality I wouldn't care if I had to kill my parents to keep it....I would probably push them down the stairs or light a fire at a gas station
What was that anime with the parent killing again? Oh right, Ayane Freaks, watch that.

I sure would.
As soon as everyone from your family is dead, just detach yourself.
Learn everything there is to be learned, martial arts, weapons, maths you name it.
And, if wow keeps on going, I wouldn't be bored ever

With not having the ability to die EVER, that seems kind of a bummer. I mean, that's gotta be an experience too, right!? But, I think I might be swayed by the ability to find out what's going on out there in the universe.
So, what would happen if I went inside a blackhole? Some say I'd cease to exist. How does immortality play into this?

Well, then probably my ast lives weren't really that smart....
I get the feeling I'm doing the most of all my past lives...
But, it could be possible that I was allready and English geek when I was 11...
But it could also be that the people of my school that time were so incredibly stupid... those guys were even too dumb to whipe their asses...
Anyways.. so my past live could've been a brit...

A poll shouldbe added. THis is a good poll topic.
Idk if i would take it or not...it would be awsome to live in the future, with technology and shit....but after hundreds of years it would get farking boring....and not to mention it would suck total balls when the sun blows up and earth is destroyed. Then what happens if i float in space for a billion years, land on some aline planet and then be tortured for the rest of my life. Every day i wake up, legs freshly broken, a gapping hole in my head...ugh

the conditions on immortality are basically this:
you will stay 24-30 forever. Otherwise you will be like a normal human being.
I think there should have been more conditions... like you will be ugly as hell, or you will go through a painful experience every month..bad luck for eternity.
with the current conditions of immortality who wouldn't take it?

you live forever......for...ever......wtf do you do once youve done everything? and when the world goes into a nuclear holocaust, or inter galactic warfare, or the su blows up. Have fun in space, maybe save yourself a pattleball and play with it for eternity afterwards.

LOL yes..I agree..bring something to entertain yourself with
but, I do believe there is enough to experience that one would not get bored. I mean, essentially, you could travel to anywhere because, if you don't die, then you could travel to another planetary system and seek out intelligent life. SUre, it may take you thousands of years to get there, but what else are ya gonna do??

I would never take it.
The whole reason you live is to die.
Think about it for a little, it will make sence.
