If the price drops people will buy anything. Wii is selling better because more people want to buy it simple as that. Stop giving the PS3 so much leway.

So far we have the PS3 will be good when

The price drops
More games come out
When they use the systems full power

who else wants to add to that list because those are 2 VERY BIG reasons NOT to buy a game system. The Atari 2600 may make a comeback bu tim not going to wait for it because it might maybe possiblely be worth something someday...maybe

after metal gear solid 4 and final fantasy xiii come out a lot of people are going to buy a ps3 just to play them and they really will too a lot of people seem to love those games, then when more people own a ps3 more good games will start coming out just for it

Been an avid fan of the MGS series and the FF series and until i see a another price drop and more games worth buying i have no plans on buying a PS3. I know alot of people who feel the same way. If the PS3 had more than 3 big exclusives to make its still large price tag worth it it'd be a better invest meant but its seriously lacking....

Aren't the good titles for ps3 coming out next year? With that and price cuts might make a lot more sales because Japan is the king of topnotch technology

The reason why wii is so popular right now is because of its age level span. Almost anyone can play it since they got games for the whole family. Since everyone in your family can play plus its cheap, no wonder people buy it. The graphics just suck and the controller is all they got to tout about

No it certainly doesnt have better games compared to the 360 or the Wii, in
face most its game are either 360 games or shitty games.

Graphics...do you even have a PS3 or played on one before? because as
of right now the 360 has better grahpics then the PS3 (Proven fact) wont
be 3 years until the PS3 really takes off.

Controls...Yes a controller that has no rumble, ripped of the Wii-remote and
as such its motion sensor capabilities are shit, and so far Sony have barley
used them because they know its shit.

I played the Wii a few times but would never buy it. The new control system is more irritating then it is fun and interesting. I got bored after 20 minutes of play.

The 360 and PS3, will eventually overtake Wii sales, PS3 espicially... It'll just take time.
And as the new gaming style tends to be online play, the Xbox live really gives an advantage over the other 2 systems, but will soon need to stop the monthly fees when the online community for the PS3 really boosts up.

I have a 360 myself which I won off an LCM packet, I would never of bought it myself though as I am more of a PS3 fan-boy, regardless though, I'm happy that the only game I'm really looking forward too thus far (GTA 4) will be available on the 360 console.

I own none of these consoles, so I don't really have an opinion.

I like the innovative gameplay of the Wii. Where Microsoft and Sony went for the next gen version of the 'standard' console, Nintendo really dared to take the risk with the Wii. IMO, they really went Next-Gen.

If price didn't matter, I'd probably go for the PS3, since I like the games that come out on it better than the games for other consoles.

In my opinion, they're all good. Tons of people have these consoles, that says enough. I don't think one console is better than the other. They all have their own features and games which makes people buy them.

I just stick with my PC.

oh god...lol not again, the same old "Nintendo is for kids" is so old and tired.
I mean if anything you look at the games take came out on the PS2 compared
to the NGC, most of the PS2 games were aimed at and rated for minors...likewise
now out of all 3 consoles its currently a mix of adult and children games...still
most people think games like super mario galaxy is a child's game and a game
that features guns and explosions must be better because its aimed at an
older audience

I have played all three and I would have to say that the Wii is more fun overall. The Wii does a much better job at attracting new players from all different age groups. Of course it has more kiddy games than other systems. It's not meant to be as hardcore as something like the PS3 (which, incidentally, my cousin has and he has exactly two games for it) or Xbox 360. It's not all about what the average teenage male gamer likes; success can measured on how widespread the popularity is and if it is how user-friendly it is. I also like the XBox 360 for its online play but I can't see it winning over any non-gaming with its library of FPS games. Games like Wii Sports, Wii Play, and Mario and Sonic at the Olympic Games will probably seem juvenile to the rest of you but if I can make my parents play them, it's worth it.
