Yeah, but I never noticed a real change of quality in any music I recorded with realplayer
Maybe I don't hear a difference anymore because I screwed my ears with too much loud music <_<"

I cant seem to find the recording thing. The only one I found was like I have to enter my credit card info even though it was a "free" trial.?
Oh yeah, also the file im trying to convert is a dam flv. file .. anyhelp?

Video files have separate streams for video, audio, and subtitles/captions. Demuxing simply separates the streams into separate files. This means you have zero data loss. The problem with recording things using something like Audacity is that your recording isn't going to be 100% faithful to the original, and you have to re-compress it, losing quality. If you're an audiophile like me, (I keep all my music in lossless formats), any loss of quality is not acceptable. Not only that, but recording must be done in real time, while demuxing is instant.Reise wrote:Dunno what the hell demuxing is but I've never noticed any quality loss recording with Audacity.
