When you want to sign up for a website or for an account, and they ask you for an email so you can verify your account. Just give them this email, and then verify. Won't clog up your inbox full of spam. Also useful if a website will only let you sign up for one account per email, and you need more than one account on the said site for whatever reason and you don't want to go through the hassle of creating another email.
