Heres a screen of a small portion of our forces before the war:
Once the war started, Everyone jumped in and the loader lagged for like 30 seconds cuz of everyone entering. I got in, and set up a command post asap. We then charged to the gates, and started taking them down. Dam those gates have tons of hp
us destroying the gates:
TD broke into the castle, and destroyed two of the guard towers before either of the other main unions (Gods army at the west, WeOwnAlps(lol @ name) in the middle). We ended up taking the last tower down because once GA took down the west gate they went to the heart, clearly not knowing anything about fortress war
After that, the 3 minutes countdown started, and TD rushed in to the heart, destroyed all opposition, and started on the heart. I summoned a Manho (omg they are so much fun) And the union easily protected the hammer members taking down the heart.
We won the fortress in like 30 minutes. Then it was time to defend. We went to the walls and held off all sides.
Shortly after this screen i went down there by myself and summoned another Manho. Pwnage!
Then all the attacking guilds got illy livered and didnt want to attack. So i took my guild (Black_Mambas) in an 8 man party of our finest, and we organized an outside assault. We teleported outside, buffed up, and went off destroying everything. Our 8 man party first rescued the middle gate that was being pounded by WOA and their sosuns. We then moved to the west gate and took out over 30 other people. Of course, it couldn't be done without the single greatest cleric in alps, and prolly sro OldRob, and a Manho
. Our 8 man assault team met its demise when WOA and GA met us at once, and managed to take us down. We regrouped, and continued our assaults of destruction, losing maybe one guy for every 5 killed.
At the end, i had 112 kills myself, and im sure my party had comparable numbers after all we went through. The buffs are amazing as you kill people. I had 10% damage and 10% defense for my fortress buff of Chief infantry assault (something like that)
All in all, it was wicked fun. So much fun i forgot to take screens
