Right ladies and gents im having a very anoying problem, that i cant connect, this is due to lack of room on servers, please vote in my petition for what u think should happen.

Much appreciated every vote counts!
now i hope that this will be seen by SRO mods! :banghead:

Go play on Aege, where the player cap is insanely high.
THEN suggest something dumb.

There's a server cap for a reason. They're laggy enough with the people they have now.

Maybe if you guy a few hundred dollars worth of silk from item mall they can spend money on better server hardware :?:

The best thing is if they somehow improved or re-did their netcode. I'm no expert at these things, but from experience certain games can lag just because their netcode isn't optimized or it's just plain not good.

yea, definite NO to increasing the server caps. We don't want everything to be like Aege and Xian......

i like the buying silk idea... go buy a shitload of silk... or buy them a new server (perferrably some 5mil one that works hella good ^.^) and mail it to em lol

meh i didnt know what to say instead of maxability lol but i still think the cap should be raised, xian isnt even laggy lol and i wouldnt mind a teeny bit of lagg if it meant i could get on it lol :roll:

i play on xian... when i CAN log on... and the server isnt full... i sometimes get in -_-... neway... every once in a while i get spikes... like ill b walking around in the imperial palace.. then walk out of the city... then all of a sudden i cant walk... like theres a wall in the way... then i get jumped back inside the palace standing right next to a wall...

so point is... it already lags...

lol its seen its share of blue screens... i gotta reinstall Windows every few monthsx cuz of the viruses i get lol XD

but still... thats just a spike... just means i lagged for a second on the server... and where my computer saw me as walking around a wall.. the server thinks i ran into the wall... thats whats happening

Oh, I'm sorry, who are you? That's right, nobody. More people in the server means more lag. It is very simple. And the fact that you think a petition will change that is really quite funny.

i thikn they need to open more servers.. not populate the current ones to a higher degree, because at the moment if you can get in it is already somewhat laggy....

Yeah your the noob, i dont mind spending a while getting in as long as when im in the lag is pretty non existent (im on venice, i have no lag most of the time).

I salute Aegians, i couldnt stand the lag so i moved but the people that are still there have some mighty patience, we dont want all the servers to end up like that.

too many players at one time can cause a huge deal of lag which would be on every server, one thing to do is to spread out the servers to have sub servers which run through separate locations to decrease lag.

Apparently the topic creator wasn't around when xian and aege had 24/7 30 second lag spikes constantly. (Redundant I know, don't care).

Amen to that, which is why I vote NO, I hope they never ever raise the limit again.

Anyway its not that hard to log in it only takes a few try's, I remember the Alpha phase when Xian was the only server and it was capped. Lol it took mamba 9 hours to log in once.
