Girls, Drinking, Football Real football, not that padded rugby yank nonsense <3 and Film. But Film is the one that everyone, no matter what you like, can talk about =)

So, simple premise really, SRF Film council:

Some text if you want (what its about or why you've rated it how you have, that kind of thing)

I figure its a good way for everyone to talk to each other about films, and also its a good way to find films people like, recommendations and all that jazz ^_^

A wonderfully timeless classic action film. Bruce in a vest, "shoot the glass" the hug C4 explosion, germans and one of the most wonderful villains in film history, and xmas time. What more could you possibly want?

Romanzo Criminale
Gangster (Italian with english subs)

I first saw this in the cinema and i was a little sceptical about seeing a subbed film (i've seen others at the cinema, like NightWatch) but i thought a gangster film with subs? too much action and reading at the same time surely? But no, this film is wonderful, its got homages to the great gangster flicks and at Cannes was dubbed the modern successor to Godfather/Goodfellas/Scarface. If you love gangster films I would urge that you see this. Its wonderful.

yes, it was good. But it's this kind of movie that you either love or hate. you know.... everything or nothing and for me it was everything, so i can say i find it a good movie. also the acting of Will Smith was very good

there were some parts that were a slight simile... could of been a lot funner

This movie basically has everything you can ask for. It has brute violence,
irish accents, lots of fights; both with hands and guns. They actually managed
to put a big heap of funny stuff in it too. I've seen it like 10 times at least, and
still aint bored of it.

Name of Film: Lucky Number Slevin

Great, fun movie. Couple of great and well known actors in it. Its an action
movie that has a very unexpected twist at the end.

Name of Film: Goodfellas
Genre: Gangster

Your Rating out of 10 : 9.5/10
Its a long gangster movie. Its one of the many classics like the Godfather
trilogy, Scarface, Donny Brasco, etc. The movie takes up about 2,5-3 hours
of your time, but its worth every minute. Main role is played by Robert DeNiro,
who has about the same age in this movie as pacino did in scarface.

Genre: Action

Starring keira knightley. "I'm Domino. I'm a bounty hunter".
Well, thats kindof what you get here. She plays some tough, bored to death
beverly hills chick that wants to have some fun, so she joins a bounty hunting
crew. Lots of shooting, some limbs flying around, and a lapdance in underwear.
Not a bad movie, but not a really good one either.

Its so bad its funny. Its about this mutated big fish thats eating people. I
think i've wasted at least 6 people's time with it.

Shawshank Redemption

One of the best movies I've seen. Its about the life of Andy in the Shawshank prison after he's falsely charged with murdering his wife. Its fairly sad but the ending is great and there is a lot of in-depth material to think about

If your from the US and don't know this I seriously pity you. You can see the first one but most likely you'll say that number 2 is better because its so damn funny! jackie chan and chris tucker star in it. Its a good movie for casual family night entertainment
