I was chatting with a friend of mine on msn and he was talking about how runescape has alot gold bots cutting trees and hes having hard time with them etc. I ended up being in pleveling company's live chat talking about buying plevel on runescape just to make fun of them and you know the rest. I could go back for another convo like this about silkroad, but that same guy will be there and i dont really feel like talking to him again.
Someone else can do it, he was there half hour a go and most likely he still is.

dont know y u guys feel so sry for him , i mean if u stay in school and have a life and study hard, get smart. get scholarship u should be able to make a good life out of ur life.

thats just 1 of the bad examples in life that tells u to stay in school and learn and study hard to make ur life successful.

and plus itz only $4 usa money. but i am pretty sure 33 yen( or what ever china money he makes) is worth more and considered alot to them.

dont shed tears or feel sad, itz just a sign of innocence from those dam gold farmers that ruin sro.

Some people are born living without these opportunities, it simply isn't the same as the U.S. Some may be born with the rightest of morales but just lack the knowledge to get into a good college .. should he/she be punished ??

After watching the video i truly feel for these guys. If the job was yours to take and imagine all of us lived in china under their conditions .. would u choose to work as a gold farmer and make good money to support your family and make a living or would you choose not to simply because it is wrecking another being's (living in way better conditions) enjoyment while playinging a virtual online game. I think the decision is clear.

Don't get me wrong .. gold farmers negatively effect me also when i play SRO, but it is more important to look at the bigger picture in life rather than just one's enjoyment of an online game.

They dont have bill and things r so cheap over there
4$ a day is pretty decent in china in a week thats like 20$ they dont get an ipod nor big tv's or the glamorous cars but are those things really needed to be happy?

i mean in america we have that and ppl r still sad
im gunna ask the same 2 anothere site and if i get the same respond im gunna make the guys day ,hoping he has paypal

This is a great example of how naive children are today. This is CHINA, not the US of A. These people work as slaves in factories so that we can buy shit from Wal-Mart for a $1 cheaper then a competitor that makes there goods in america.

Why shouldnt they be able to afford ipod? big tv? Why can't they have labour laws that prevent them from working so hard? We are all human...they have lives and feelings also.

The guys said it's about 8x as expensive in the US. so if they earn 8x less that would make it fine. They earn like 20 times less money than a STUDENT out of school. Sure playing 12 hours a day may seem easy, but do that for a few months and your finger joints hurt so frigging much you have to ice them to keep playing the next day.

It's not like it's just china, china isn't even 3rd world. I used to live in a developing country. My dad is an engineer and he used to be a manager for a huge factory with 100+ people in it and he used to make $200 a month, with prices even higher than they are in Canada. Sure, we owned our own apartment and don't have to pay a thousand $ each day, but can you see yourself surviving with $200 for monthly expenses, feeding and clothing children, and paying bills on top of spending 2-3x more money on fuel.

Life is harsh people, in comparison there are more people living with less than the equivalent of $4 per day in US terms compared to people that can actually afford food.

You feel horrible? Get rich and don't hold on to your money, donate, support that foundation that brings fresh water to the 3rd world countries.

Sorry for the damn lecture, but I couldn't stand the ignorance of people.

B: God damit, 4$ a DAY.. thats like.. 30 - 40 cents per hour, thats the minimum in whole world, according to wikipedia gold farmers make 120 - 250$ a mounth and thats just sad.. by the way our minimum is 10$ a hour, not a day, i dont have a job atm and goverment is paying me way more than 4$ a day for doing nothing.

In relation to SRO, I've had friends (in the past before clientless) who used to sell gold to make a living. Gold companies used to buy gold off of players and sell to others at twice the buying price. It used to be how some of my friends in game made a living while they were....in between jobs.

Nowadays, that's sort of changed since there's no need. However, there are some gold buying/selling sites that are essentially botless in that players sell to the company directly and then others buy from that stock. It's for this reason it's much more expensive, but....whatever. One of my buddies who quit about 2 months ago sold his 400M for $130 USD, along wiht his SOM 52 spear for another $80 and his som/sun armor 7D set for some other amount. xD He had wayyy too much luck with the game in terms of drops, but quit because he found a better game (and could leave with a profit).

Nor hard feelings, but the truth is you are really ignorant when it comes to domestic or even global affairs...

I'm going to assume you're in Western Europe or the US since these are the most common locations for people who think that. Very few people have an internal locus of control. Take basic tests in the US such as the ACT or SAT or MCATs (for admission to medical schools) or DATs (Dental school), or GRE (for graduate schools); there are many different programs that offer preparation courses for these tests, that give you the "edge": Princetone Review, Kaplan, etc. Yet, without these preparation courses, few can hope to do well. The reason: Most people who take those tests are already in the wealthier segement of society (they have after all paid for college and such which can be as high as $40,000 a year). How can a poor person who makes ends meet afford $1400 for an MCAT prep course (which is how much I paid). For a good prep course, there are no scholarships, but doing well is directly related to taking a course. Staying in school DOES NOT mean that you'll get far in life.

Are you saying it's still fair? Hard work can only get you so far, especially in Westernized nations.

Now, China, that's even worse. They're communist; you're expected to make as much as you need to survive, nothing more. Are professional gamers making enough to survive, yes. SRO (or Runescape, or Wow) are just games for us, but for some people, they make their living off of it. It's a niche that they're filling because they don't have a mommy or daddy to spend their surplus income on them so they could have silk in game....

Wow...that really is an interesting look into their lives. I must say though. If they were paid more and have better conditions then i wouldnt mind doing it myself.

At home, i have a nice computer setup and a nice comfortable office leather chair. But when i look at what they have. At least at the end of the video those 3 friends playing games for 12hours a day with chairs that have no back support and since they slouch over so much, that must hurt like F£$" after a few hours.

Well hopefully when im a multi millionaire (fantasizing^^) ill setup my own large scale farming company in china. Which has amazing conditions, a higher pay and it everyone has to be legit or they get fired, it would be great^^
