Pure STR B/S or Pure STR Glaive

Im really stuck on this question here. I wanna make a pure STR since i like to take a hit, but i dont know what to choose between glaive or blade. I like the glaive since you can do massive damage to an oppanant, but blade and shield has the shield where you can take more damage, but its harder to kill.
I am farming right now so i dont wanna make a new account and i allready put all my AP into STR so int is out of the quesion, but i allways like to nuke people but the low health problem allways bugged me.

Don't listen to the ones Polling for you to make a Blader. Being a Blader is a hell of a commitment. It took me 2 weeks to get to lvl 33, and even at that point the damage was really bad in PvP versus my level, where it took my Rogue half a week to get to 35. A Hybrid Nuker is pretty trashy and not worth making. Nukers should really concentrate on nuking where it's needed but Hybrid Nukers and S/S Nukers are concentrated more on taking targets 1 by 1 and need to use their attack skills. The best choice is the Full Str Glavie as it can pick up at any point in a battle on any character and can easily switch between one target or another with a good amount of defense and offense.

. if u are farming now, then go blader. if u are farming later go glaive.

1. Well the thing is Bladers aren't better... They want him to be Unique and different from the norm and they're leading him into the direction of a terribly difficult to level and damage challenged character.

2. Taking 2 weeks to lvl a nuker to 32 means that either your a crappy grinder, I'm a super good grinder, or the builds rival each other in damage, which they don't.

3. Don't doubt my ability to PvP... It's not that hard to mash 1234 over and over again and get some KD + Stabs. It's a hard build to use and without good equips you will never kill anyone your level. And it isn't getting any better with the new Series[It's very weak and definately needs some improvement to make Bladers a threat]

4. I quit my Rogue just for that reason actually so w/e...

been bothering me for a bit

i tried blader before and i dont see why people say it uses less pots...

when i was on blader, even when i took half the damage as galvie it took twice as long to kill so maybe it took galvie 2 pots to kill mob (hp/mp) it took blader 2 pots to kill to just because it took so long

I would go with PURE STR BLADER...

Let me show you a practical example. My friend is a level 80 fully farmed blader.

Gear: +5 pro set....+6 blade...+7 shield....60 ice 80 fire 80 light 80 bicheon

Kills include: fully farmed sun glaives...sun bows....hybrid spears...nukers (both s/s and spear) and sun spears..

Now i'm not saying this is the ultimate build for pvp BUT this build can TANK and it CAN kill...it takes a ton of work to level a blader, that much is true, but the rewards are awesome.

Dont believe the hype...a blader CAN kill someone his level and glaives like myself are easy pickings. With the addition of division and bleed to your skills once you get those on anyone KD and stabs will kill them VERY quickly...i cant speak for after 80 cap but bladers are coming into their own NOW...just like bows...a glaive wont be much good till after 100 cap.

Btw...you will, according to what i have seen on other sites, be able to use dual weapons giving up your shield later...

NB in pvp ppl will tell you bladers KD too much....tell them to stop using their skills or buffs cuz all i hear are noob explanations as to why ppl hate fighting bladers...you can use snow shield (25%) at lvl 80 cuz NO ONE except a sun or a really good bow will hit you hard enough to stop your skills...

Since i know ppl will mention this...i am a level 77 glaive....so i know how to play the other side of the equation....

I know hybrid full sun bladers who can't even kill people around his level. Their damage is lacking THAT MUCH. But of course he can't be killed... Like ever so w/e...

...But it's all based on preference; you wanna kill more easily and still be able to tank, or you wanna be a tanking machine and not be able to kill as easily?

(that's a giant + 8 mobs, I was using npc garms at the time and outdated jewels...had to use vigor at least 2x for my mp lol)

full int nuker.. always full int now when 90 cap comes now.. for ints btw.. so u can have the 55% mana shield

but i would wait till the AOE knockdown before mobbing. :wink:

thank you guys, i am going to go pure STR B/S because of its tanking abiltitys and i saw it pvp againts a pure glaiver around the same lvl and the B/S won. Thank you for your input

Hey i am not a blader nor a glavier i am pure int s/s nuker. My friend has a lv 74 blader with all +5 equip +7 weapon and 9 gap. He is so pissed he cant kill anybody.. and its true uwill never even get close to killing anybody at ur lvl with an equip equal to urse just look at the dmg output of ur weapon and skills and compare it to glavie^^
Glavie can tank a lot. I mean not as much as Blade for sure but still a lot KB gives u time to pot as well as STUNN and remember u have most hp of all builds. And the big difference between glavie and blade is Glavie can kill^^
It's hard for me to admit it but glavie is able to kill my pure int nuker at same lvl with equal equip. Blader dont even get close to it. A lvl 80 9 gap blader is not able to kill my 71 8 gapping nuker. I think thats all that is to be said there . So remember u go blader it will take u a long time nobody of ur lvl equal equipped will be able to kill u but u will never be able to kill someone too. And forget about the status effects from chains they can be pilled off easily and only have a 20% chance to happen.. I hope that helped u with ur decision btw there is no perfekt build i think we all araa on that.

Lol....dude your friends build is rubbish (no offence)...but i have already given my opinion.

Fully farmed you cannot beat a blader....sun weapons find it HARD to beat a fully farmed blader....

With the new addition of bleed and division bladers kill!! No other str character has any offensive effect skill....both bow and glaive have stun and KB...thats it!

Its interesting that ppl with 8 and 9 gaps are sharing and ppl who havent gotten near to cap.....

Remember guys nothing in the game is absolute so dont go telling ppl a blader cant kill just because you havent seen it; dont talk about noobs who dont know how to use thier sun weapons to win or ppl who bot all the time and have NO IDEA how to fight.

Any build that has a 9 gap has problems killing in pvp, if youre not wearing sun.

I have a +4/+5 set and a +7 bow, and i do okies. But not the decent damage like I did before.

I'd say blader cuz glavier is more boring imo
