I've been smoking grain for about 10 years now, and it's come to my attention that there are proven negative side effects to smoking marijuana.. And yet none of them seem to apply to me. One of the things I read specifically sparked my interest, that marijuana can actually make you stupider, which I thought was ludicrous. I am a member of MENSA, with an IQ of 183, so surely if marijuana made you stupider 100% of the time, that would be impossible. This got me thinking, is it because we believe these things will happen to us that new smokers are stupider, have a harder time concentrating, develop spelling problems, and can even stunt their growth with marijuana, or is it all a bunch of crap?
I remember when the hot myth around was that orange products, specifically the consumption of vitamin C, interrupted the THC molecules in your bloodstream, thereby ruining your high.... Except these were unfounded, because vitamin C is a visual enhancer, and if anything would actually enhance your high. Could this be the case with these modern day rumours? I don't recall such blasphemy being spilled in the 60's..
So how about the smokers here? Are youi plagued by any of the health hazards of smoking marijuana?
[size=0] Anyone notice their definition of burnt out?
For those of you keen on finding the truth about marijuana =]
