Racist topics

Just sort of wondering about these topics.

one just got locked by vandango. My question is... people who make these topics or who post a racist comment, do they get warned or anything?

I mean if i make a racist topic, what is the worst that could happen? a locked topic? I see alot of these kind of topics and i was wondering if there is some sort of warning for the thread starter or other repercussion for making the thread or replying with a racist remark.

Just curious. no flames please.

personally i consider those racist topics/comments a lot worse than any of the banned people who got caught or admitted botting here on SRF.

most of the banned people who accidentally posted screenshot or just admitted they bot are nice people can`t say the same about racism

Still my question isn't concerned with human flaw, but with the policy on the forums

Racism has many definitions, the most common and widely accepted being the belief that members of one race are intrinsically superior or inferior to members of other races.

i know, it's bigotry, but people use the words interchangeably like all the time that the word racism has lost most if not all it's weight in terms of diction.

bigotry leads to prejudice which leads to racism....

Loling @ turks is ok if you weren't loling at them because they were turks...its only a matter of time b4 you start spouting off dumb sh*t like all turks are stupid all turks can't speak english all turks are assholes....from there its only a matter of time b4 you refuse to party with someone on the grounds that they are turks go out your way to make fun of them and so on.....

Racism hasn't lost its meaning its just got politically correctness wrapped around it so tight ppl have become to dumb to make the distinction or smart enough to get away using them interchangeably to avoid being labeled racist....

There are still ppl in the world who know how to use the word barotix if you think such thinking is limited to you and certain people on this forum you give ppl to little credit (though they deserve none)

When someone does something bad to you and he is a turk, and if you attribute his bad qualities to him being turkish, then you are a racist.

racism also implies that somehow you are superior. Why else would you differentiate between people?

is very similar to saying "I'm not racist against black people, my best friend is Cuban and that's close enough" (Daniel Tosh)

yeah, these people are the worst. Its like the 'good' turk is the exception. Why can't you just stick with 'immature' and avoid race altogether. I mean its to the point where all foreign people are labeled turks. Some guy posted something written by some German guy...people can't speak the language but they immediately labeled it turk ...i mean seriously. This stuff happens because there are some 'SPECIFIC' people in the community who perpetuate these lies. The more impressionable buy into it. simple as that.

anyways that's my little rant. It not that I "care" about Turkish people (i'm not turkish), but seriously I constantly see people just bashing others. I do however care about the forums.

Save yourself some straining thought and look up the definitions of race, ethnicity, and nationality.

It's morally ambiguous for a reason. Entertainment being one of them. Plus, it seems that you are only focusing on the ending thereby missing the entire point of the movie and settling for the final irony and shock :wink:

Well, the UN is wrong and trying to be politically correct to save their own asses then. It's far easier to say all intolerance is "racist" and therefore wrong rather than make things more complicated.
