well today i had a chat with the guy that is now playing mike2005, my old account. for a while it was stuck after euro came out, but a guildy told me today he saw the account being botted at ongs for taxis . so i thought i'd pm him and this is how it went...
i was actually intending on using the account after i got it unstuck, but if this guy wants to put items on it, buy silk for it, and use it as his own he's got another thing comin. he's gonna end up losing those items ither by chargeback or hopefully ill b able to hack the account back .
basically he says he cant hack any1 with just an ID. and he claims he might give me the account back in a couple days. personally i dont believe him on the second part though, so if he doesnt by 2pm tomorrow im gonna chargeback. i already quit the account, but i dont want any1 going around pretending to b me and ruin my reputation especially as a legit.
@stewie: he said he'd give he account back in a day or 2 (its a shot in hell but w/e), so i've decided to wait to charge back. he said "not to waist his time" if i was gonna do that, so hopefully he'll have some more items on it that he'll lose by me waitin. he already said he bought npc protector.

@instinct: it could have been worse, but that account hasn't been used since euro started cus it became stuck when that happened. on top of that i made a similar post on my guild's/union's forum site and told all my friends of what has happened, so every1 knows not to trust the account.

oh and btw for those that didnt read the whole thing; this guy is also claiming it was him that tried to hack DJ. and as u can c he actually spent silk on the account as well and wants to get it to 80, even after he told me the build was noob. i LOL'd quite hard to that.
this is only about 2/3 of the convo i had with him. when i finally decided to screenshot the thing i had missed a couple screens worth of lines. he said hed only been on it for a couple days and that it was stripped clean of everything (i did that a long time ago when i quit the account), but he managed to get a low lvl bow and die off the lvl 9 murder i had put it in, which only dlvled it to 67 from 68. and that the past couple days he was doing constant taxis to buy his piece of shit 64+4 bow with a red line on it and npc garm. he claimed to have not botted it, but i wouldnt put anything past a hacker, and my guildy did say he saw him botting it while he was taxing.
Wow its a shame to hear your char got hacked mike. You may not remember me at all, but i was in your union back in the day, sometime in 2006. Posting a name would be pointless, i was only around lvl 40 then and was only in the union for a few weeks. Well at least i think it was in 2006, i am not quite sure to be honest, might of been early 2007. Either way back then you were lvl 60 i think.. and i remember talking to you and you were seemed like a pretty fair dinkim guy.
After just finding out you got hacked and after reading that, i think trying to do a chargeback on him is the best option. Though the way i see it is that he thinks you are bluffing with the whole "2 days" thing. If you can not successfully chargeback due to the 60 day rule posted before, maybe play on this idea of a bluff. If possible try and widdle the password off him, or find some way of securing the account.
