The single grossest thing I've ever seen..
http://user.it.uu.se/~svens/larverna/normal.html
And yes, those are hundreds of thousands of live caterpillars... And what I can only describe as their web.

I'd torch the damn things. We have caterpillars like that but they don't cover whole trees with silk, just little patches and stuff.

those aren't the same, the ones we get here in holland are slightly toxic and give you the most annoying itchy feeling ever.

kill all the dam buggers! ugh. So disgusting...not the caterpillars, but how they freaking consumed the entire tree and bike in silk. It like a bad horror movie, as soon as you look up theres this 200 foot caterpillar that drools on you and then eats you like a blade of grass. yuck.

Why not
just move the school and leave them alone
If the concept of us being all one consciousness's and us being one thing that lives endless through the cycle of nature the only clear emotion would be understanding .
we be in a utopia

I
caterpillars easily my favorite insect (besides slugs and worms) they are soooo adorable. The caterpillars in my area do that to entire patches of forest sometimes but i've never heard of them making people itch or get sick...

The host guy in MAN vs WILD would eat all of those things man.
He eats ANYTHING!
-One episode when he was in the sahara, he pissed on his shirt and put it on his head to keep his head cool
-Ate a LIVE frog
-Ate a lizard
-Ate some spider only found in the sahara
etc.
