1 handed/lock or 2 hand/cleric

Post by Cinnamon »

Me and a few friends started over on Uranus (mostly because of the name :P ) and i decided to make a warrior. After looking over some topics I've narrowed it down to 1h/lock or 2h/cleric.

I like 1h/lock for the survivability as well as its unique factor. Not to mention de-buffs are awesome

I like 2h/cleric because it puts up nice damage and compensates for the extra damage it takes with a cleric sub.

I think both builds would be great but I'm just not sure which I'd prefer playing. I know both are strong builds so I'd just like your input to help me make a decision.

Also if it effects your decision I will probably be partying with a wiz and cleric most the time.

Thanks for the help :)

I'd say go 2h/cleric ... It has like
Iron skin + Mana skin (45 seconds of God Mode)
Bless (another 45 seconds of God Mode)
Then after 30 seconds he can recast Iron skin + Mana skin
And that is enough to kill someone ... :)

I would try the 1h/warlock. If you're going to be with a cleric, you shouldn't have any trouble staying alive. Plus, it would be interesting from a uniqueness perspective.

If it doesn't work, you can always make a 2h/cleric and level it up quickly.

Good luck either way. :)

1h/warlock will lose to 2h/cleric cuz of holyword + integrity of cleric subclass, warlock debuffs will be rendered useless
and 2h outdmg 1h and has extra edge of bless spell in addition to iron/mana skin (which both 1h/2h gets)
found some aim in life, something more important waiting for me

The 1h/warlock would still be able to use stun, which currently no one is immune to- not even clerics. So they'll still be skill interrupters that give an advantage to this build.

I'd still go for warrior / warlock, i'm in a party most of the time and it's working out fine, I cast some debuffs and then jump in and take aggro while nukers and healers does their jobs.

You should try it instead of just going cleric for 45 seconds of protection that your cleric could give you anyway.
