I never said he thought ozone depletion and global climate change were the same thing (but many MANY people do). I was merely extinguishing any argument he COULD have that they were, since he seemed to be going down that road.

First of all, who the hell are Bill O'Reilly and Glen Beck? Seriously this is not the place to 'assume' shit. I have educated myself on this matter without the need to study it on a 'graduate level' where I would be force fed information.

Fact of the matter is, it's all a load of cods wallop. Nothing has ever been proven as a fact. Just some scientists and governments hoping that your average Joe buys into this crap and starts living they way they want you too. Paying for 'cleaner' products. If the world is being heated by global warming so much .. how come there are severe snow storms in the USA ? How come it snowed in South Africa for the first time in AGES early 2007.

I hope that's not because the earth is warming, cause I'd love to see the earth cooling down.

Conclusion .. Yes obviously theres a climate shift. Are we to blame? NO, how the hell do you think we have ANY control over what a vast thing like Earth does? You really think that with a 100 years of technology we farked up the world? No of course not.

It's all about the $ .. or should I say ¥.

lal, no need to educate me thanks.

ATM, all global warming is to me, is an economic trend. Yes things might be going down the hill, and climate's are changing. But this has all happened before, maybe not on this scale but everyone must know that isn't a solid arguement to base anything on.

Sure it's cool to keep people here in holland afraid of the sea, make sure they all know they're gonna drown. And most off all, make sure they all think they can put a stop to this, by buying 'green' products and services.

It's all irrelevant, we don't know if this is gonna kill the earth, it might recover as it has done before. Yes we need to do someting about our 'greenhouse' gasses and other pollution, cus thats never good for anything. No were not killing our earth. (yet).

You ever heard of global dimming? Pollution particles made clouds act like giant mirrors reflecting sunlight, doing the opposite of global warming. There is no good side to pollution, this has only been hiding the true scale of global warming... in the last 50 years the sunlight that reaches Earth surface was reduced by 16%.

We just have to make sure not to use greenhouse gases like amoniac etc. anymore. So we don't screw up the climate even more.
