Best feeling I had was not the first time playing the game but the first time I joined a guild. Starting out really confused about weapons, stats, builds, and gameplay in general, I really was greatly helped by a now disbanded guild - it's called Insanity, from Oasis, now broken apart due to a schism between the members.

Xian 60 cap, no auto pots, no auto party and no item mall. Used to have to hang around in town, any town and get a pt going, go out grind and chat in pt constantly. People back then used to help each other out, no sox crap, no talking about being noob (very little anyway), and above all, a bit of common decency. +5 weapons where rare. People back then used to work for the cap and masteries, nowadays anyone can be lvl 80 without lifting a finger.
