Runtime error or JM retardedness?

I can't log Ito in on Greece.. when I do, it's instant dc as soon as I attack anything. I can log in other chars on my pc but they don't dc at all. What should I do about it? I logged in on my babel char and it didn't have a problem. =/

Any suggestions?

Ito try with a fresh computer reboot, it happens o everyone in a random dose.

If it only happens on one server then updating your graphics drivers won't make a difference I guess. Try to use a return scroll on ito, to return to town. Maybe you have gone into a bugged area.

EDIT: @ Leipo she is not stuck, she doesn't get disconnected the moment she connects, she only disconnects when she attacks someone. That's why I suggested to use a return scroll so that the server resends her all the information and hopefully solve the problem

I tried taking off all my silk items and emptying my inv and it didn't work.. and now it DC's me in town. =[

What does this has anything to do with graphic card? She clearly mentioned that it doesnt happen with other char. And it's not the first time she play sro.

This is my error.
It normally means drivers need to be updated, but i've tried a few different accounts and ito is the only one who dcs.

I can be lvl 73 today.. halp pls men

Its pathetic people have to use oudated drivers to run SIlkroad and not be able to use the Card to the fullest potential cause Joymax can't program for shit.

Many people here play Crysis, COD4 and other games that use the latest capabilities of cards, that come with newer, faster and better drivers.

But no, you can't use those cause you'll get Runtime error. Which like every problem, Joymax says its your problem not ours.

What's even more pathetic is players continue to give the same advice and blame the player just like Joymax.

Use old drivers to not get runtime error in Silkroad which has no support, Joymax will blame you for their security flaws, and absolutely cares nothing about you.

Maybe try the Vista compatibility option of the shorcut.
Or reinstall directx 9.0c (directx 10 doesnt work with sro i think)

9 doesn't install on Vista. Tells you something along the lines of you already have 10 installed, no need for 9. Very odd though. Try a friends computer and see if it works from there. If not, well...there's not much you can do.

DirectX10 is backwards compatible to DirectX9 (Or is it the other way around?? anyway DirectX10 also supports DirectX9 commands.)
I would also try to login on another computer to make sure that it's not Joymax sending you the wrong data about your char or something. When you can login and attack on another computer well then I would also switch back to Windows XP... At the moment windows XP is the best supported OS by SRO.

The other character's, are they on the same account? If yes and you can log them in (greece) without a problem, then it would not be a operating system problem.
