Just go, maybe she doesn't even wants anything with you.
From your post It seems you know her longer, which I think should not be forgetten.
Make her very clear one way or another how you think about cheaters, and if she mentions you and her, just say she first has to break up with him.
A lot fairer for him too.

If you know her, but don't like her personality, you can either try if you can bang her one time, or just go after your crush directly.
