Best Sub-Class for a Warlock?

Post by JacksColon »

What do you think the best sub-class is for a warlock? Or do you think you can go pretty much pure int warlock all the way and getting a sub is silly? :)

cleric because u can be immune to statuses, recovery diversion for healing, bless spell physical defense, heavenly flash for bind status, and finally offering (best skill in game).

no you have to switch to cleric rod for the cleric skills, and warlock rod of the warlock ones. They both have a shield though so that is a plus!

bless spell, holyword, bind, recovery div, healing cycle?

wat wiz skills that will remain aft changing weap to warlock rod? none i thk and wiz is always a main mastery, bard/cleric is more of a subclass

Looks like Cleric is the consensus. I just hate in principle to use a cleric, if you know what I mean :)

i'd go wizard lol

i'm a warlock/cleric but removing cleric for wizard

reason being i can already tank pt giants my lvl as warlock without using cleric skills... i dont need extra healing really

so i'd rather have wizard where i can make kills then switch to warlock to tank, plus i hate having to fix rod every 30 minutes

pvp with cleric is fine but it works just as well with wizard
if warlock/cleric stuns warlock/wizard then first wins, if other way around the wizard wins, holy word doesnt block the first status on dots (just the second ones like burn/poison)

I hav a warlock/cleric and i deeply regret it (that is y im dlvling wizard for cleric.) It may be good at low lvls but at high lvls cleric is the best way to go because when u job and pvp and u get all of these statuses like like bleed, burn, frostbite, and FREEZE. U may be saying well that is wat i hav pills for, but pills hav a 10 sec cooldown and a blader can inflict all of those statuses in about 7 sec so wizard sub isnt gunna help u there. The only thing wizard sub will do is increase damage by debuffing+stun+life control+nuke, but warlock already does decent damage. I dont know about u but I would rather take status immunity, healing, and phy defense increase over damage. Even if u want damage cleric offering does the most damage in the game.

Earth Barrier, but bless is better.
Teleport, used with any weapon, even without a weapon.
Fear and mana drain stay after switching.

The reason why more people like cleric, is because it's the subclass that best strengthens your own class, unlike the rest, which are more switcher subclasses.

Using lvl 10 warrior is a little useless because that shield bump casts as fast as stun or sleep, and those two have better effects.
