omg I just searched on youtube "Best hockey fight ever" and this came up.. Notice the first string got into the fight.. Well the subs got into it too lol..

Lacrosse and hockey players are the toughest in all sports played in the usa. Football is one, but isn't more than hockey or lacrosse.

They shouldn't even penalize when fighting is basically part of the game. But like they say "I went to a fight and a hockey game broke out."

Lacrosse is a tough sport :s ? Oh wells come to the U.K. and watch some rugby. Not the International level mind, just the minor leagues.

hehe i dont know.

Dont get me wrong, i dont like hockey (i'm european, not a big fan of american sports, but i kinda know about them), and i guess it would be fun to go to a hockey match, take a sit, drink a beer and watch whatever your favorite team is.
But when they take off their gloves and try to break the other guy's face, that's what i dont like, and i dont like seeing the people cheering that. It seems people gets more excited watching them bleed while they punch than of enjoying the game per sè.

Rugby is different, it's a full contact sport, tackles, hits, teamplay, etc etc (probably same as hockey). Maybe the same reason why i like that sport, it could be the same reason about hockey and topic starter (dont even know if he likes hockey, lol). But at least i know (of course there have been fights in rugby, but people dont like that, we stop those fights) that fans dont find pleausure when two guys get up and start to fight. And if that happens, it'll suck, lol.

i am sorry but are you serious..............that was a pussy fight starting by the fact they can barely hit each other couse of the gear !!!!!!! kickboxing is an sport lets compare who is tougher ...the fatass on the vid was just taking blows that wasnt even a fight also footballs players are way tougher just couse they dont fight doesnt mean they cant/or know how lots of people agreed with you and i dont think was very bright......

That was REALLY the wrong argument to bring up. How many times have you seen kickboxing on the news?

(FYI Hockey is bigger than basketball too.)

First you complain about hockey fights and then you say kickboxing is the best sport and then you say kickboxing only gets on the news when someone gets MURDARRRD!?!?
