My theory is because it was in the center of SRO before Euro. But after euro, people got used to it and thereby stayed

Because DW gives that "old west" feel? On my server, they use DW as an excuse to do something while they wait for Tiger Girl to appear, then they hop on the horse and head for the west ferry.

I personally like pvping in north Hotan because I loved how Hotan looked ever since I made it there, a rich palace were it seemed fit for legends to pvp?

Nowadays they're also trying to make Samarkand a small pvp place now if they don't mind those overgrown chickens, the Kokoru pecking at them.

Dowhang was my first new, major scenery/monster change in SRO when I started awhile back.

It will always be my first major travel destination, it's like.. I dunno, you just feel like it's the place to be.

all the gates are close and safe zone is big and mobs arnt hard to kill, just is a good place for pvp ?? xD

Its about community, DW has the most amount of ppl lvling in the game. Most ppl are between lvl30 and lvl70 in all of silkroad, i know God told me and this means a lot of ppl at DW for the Caves, low lvl areas around for everyone else and plenty of pvp and trade spots.

But Hotan is the town for Guild Wars, elite pvps and small high lvl trades.
Jangan is the town for relaxing and showing off and will soon be a highly active spot for Fortress Wars and then even more popular with Chin Tomb (In the far future).

Constan is not so bad and will get a lil more popular when the fortress is released.

DW is best without all these updates, dumb luck? no it was the second city created by Joymax so they had experience and the time to build it correctly.

But technically Hotan is the fanciest, Smarkand is the most bug free and technically superior for gaming (In size and content).

and Constan is Hotan #2, pretty but useless for most of the stuff there.

I can only imagine what Islam will be like besides another dead city. When a game slowly dies, new content is dead for old and new players with most ppl sticking to what they know best

DW, end of story. in ragnarok it was prontera the main city capital? capitol? i think it's capitol
similar to what Hotan is. oh well, Im curious what the Hotan fortress will be like though.
