Just like the Fav. Drummer thread.

Remember, this isn't a "best guitar player" thread, just who you personally like the most. your reasons are your own, please express why.

Speaking in terms of ability, John Petrucci is at the top of my list, but there are many other greats IMO.

But, I always have a place in my heart for Stevie Ray Vaughn

I chose the following guitar players for a couple of reasons. they play the same
music style as i used to when i still played guitar a lot, and they are awesome
at doing it. Last link is the last song i played when i was still taking lessons, one
of the few classical songs i loved to play.. After that, it basically went
downwards cause i didnt find the time anymore.
