ultimate tank?

Post by bowner »

the ultimate tank... i was just fooling around with the str/int tool and saying you went 70:70 s/s it seems that you would have about 5k more hp then a regular pure int ss, so for a recap, snowsheild+extra 5k hp, plus sheild= rape? discuss, also, would 70% balance still hit higher then a 100% pure str blader?

crit is not higher than blader. if u watn 70:70. then go bow
i dont like it neither, it would still hav much less hp than blader.
boyaka boyaka.

IMO the 70:70 will hit harder than full str blade using nukes and as far as i know,i think that the chains will be also stronger, but not strong enough to kill easily other ppl. so u will have to kill ur enemy before ur snow shield runs out.

full str blader dmg is low even if u do crit, u would have to spam crits to kill easily, and i think that u would tank better than 70:70 bow, but 70:70 bow isnt made to tank, only to kill faster

so should i make this build?
right now im at lvl 19 and im pure int and i think i would start adding str only after lvl 30 so that my nukes will be decent when i get them... but i think this could be a great pvp build...

hmm i dunno, for 80 cap it would be good, but the problem will be 90 cap(its coming), what u will do then?
i think u should keep full int with s/s, or hybrid int, theyr good. i dunno about this build ur trying to, but i see no problem in using it, i just think it will be a bit harder to lvl it, like bladers. i must admit that i also thought about this when i saw the 70:70 bow build. what are u planning to go talking about skills? 90 bicheon, 90 ice and 90 light? then i think hybrid int sword/shield would be better. or, if u want to tank using snow shield and also do high damage, go hybrid 1:2 str:int sword/shield, or something like that, then u will have high hp and high mp and will be able to tank better than full int with snow shield on (more hp).

Wrong point there...
70:70 needs to be considered rather as Int than
as a Str build.
I'm quite sure a Sword! will hit harder than a Blade
being 70:70...
So we're talking about a 70:70 Int Hybrid Sword.
A great tanker with Snow Shield, an ok tanker without...
Most critical point about it will be the damage.
I don't know if it's high enough for a Str Glavie
(talking about Cap PvP...)
Probably not right now.
On 90 that build could work due to Crit increased
Stabs, Lvl 85 KD.
Not a Nuker build though...

yeah thats what i was thinking, but your saying no nukes at all? if im considering using no nukes at all, then i think i should make him 90 ice, 90 fire, 90 bich, and maybe 30 light just for phantom

I hope you try this build. I want to make 1 but I don't even have 1 capped character. ><

You should definitely get nukes. My nukes hit between antidevil non crit and strongbow on my char. The splash will allow you to grind much faster than sword skills alone. They also hit str characters in garms decently hard. You will still be dependent on crits for winning pvp, like str blader. Chains are a must, you will fight like a blader with an opening nuke.

IMO 60 ice is needed, maybe you could get away with 35% snow shield.

I don't know what the best masteries will be for you. I wrote a guide that is stickied that covers the pros and cons of the force trees.

It might depend on how well your character can tank or do damage. If it needs more damage then add more fire, if it needs more tank add more ice.
Good luck
lvl 65 4gap 84:84 bow inactive.

ultimate chinese tank would be a full str force cold blader.
str = hp
blade + shield = superdef
cold = snow shield
force = passive for hp and healing if needed

try and kill that bastard, hard as nails. granted, he cant kill you either, but still. try and kill him.
