Holy Spell and Holy Word

Even if this was spoken of, it is prolly burried in some thread.
Question is does Holy Spell protect against different status effects than Holy Word and can they both be used at the same time since they act as separate skills (separate cool downs, i think)

the only difference is that holy spell is stronger and its buffs the whole party.
