Help i cant start sro

but another friend of mine can get into the game with no worries

im still puzzled why i can access http://www.silkroadonline.net but not have the start button....different issue/server?

The website and launcher are finally working for me. Eventually, what I resorted to doing was googling silkroadonline.net and viewing it by clicking the "cached" feature. Then once it finally loaded I tried to click login. First time, 404 Not Found. Tried a few more times and the website finally worked. After that it was smooth sailing to laucher->start. yea its working for me too now i got a 5 hour grind for my silver prem then off to own some thiefs

had http://www.silkroadonline.net open (it took several refreshes to get the site to load) in explorer and then the start button would appear when trying to load the game.

but then again it is joymax

This should solve the issue until Joymax moves their IP addresses, which probably won't happen:
1. Use Notepad to navigate to C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc and open the file labeled hosts.
2. Delete everything in the file (Ctrl+A, Delete). Replace it with:
127.0.0.1 localhost
121.128.133.26 gwgt1.joymax.co.kr
121.128.133.26 gwgt1.joymax.com
121.128.133.27 gwgt2.joymax.co.kr
121.128.133.27 gwgt2.joymax.com
64.152.34.142 joymaxnpro.nefficient.com
121.128.133.12 silkroadonline.net
3. Save it and reboot.
4. Ensure that Silkroad is allowed through all firewalls including software and hardware (allow port 15779 TCP).
