Wizard & a tank?

Post by Crazydude600 »

Im a lvl 19 Wizard and Warrior, i wanted to lvl up my warrior skill just to wear the armour while using my wizard skills for attacks. Is that a stupid
idea? and am i gonna regret it at a higher lvl?
Any advice would be great.
Cheers.

From an SP perspective I guess it's not so bad, though it seems even high level Chinese characters are moving away from armor towards using protector or garments. As such it is questionable that you will continue to want to wear heavy armor at high level, especially taking your movement into account. Personally I think I'd go for cleric and light armor in stead; at least you can always add clerical skills later then, and make effective use of your second class. Don't forget that as a wizard you're not supposed to be tanking mobs. Either kill them before they get to you, or let a warrior take the hits for you.

Thanks for the quick reply.
Cleric skills are always usefull, i guess i had this idea of an indestructable wizard too good to be true, im not stuck for sp but the whole Str/int situation might leave me with just a mediocre wizard and a mediocre tank a high lvls.
