I wonder which crusade is more interesting

I wonder which crusade is more interesting, in the sense i'm working on a seris of serialized adventrues about the Brethren of the Blade, following one sect in particular, the general gist is, they are mercanaries, hired to preformed many particular tasks, from all over europe , asia and the middle east, more or less focusing on europe and the middle east

I'm just wondering if any one has any suggestions as to which crusade I should use, because in the last one they go to jerusilm as something related to the crusades, and i'm readin thru the wiki of the crusades and i can't think of which one I could most easily apply this to
