the higher ur parry ratio the bigger the chance of receiving lower end dmg

lets say some1 can hit u for 1-100 dmg. the higher ur parry the more likely the dmg they actually hit u is 1, but 100 will still hit from time to time as well.

Always wanted to draw a pic to explain this:

Image

Your attack rating and target parry ratio are related.

In A, we take away attack rating or parry ratio, so your damage can be anywhere within the min or max range.

In B, your attack rating is higher than your target's parry ratio, so your damage has a higher frequency or chance of hitting at max damage.

In C, your opponent/target has higher parry ratio than your attack rating, so you hit at the minimal damage range more often.

ya the higher your parry is the lower dmg you recieve.....the higher your attack rating the higher your dmg and crits will be....and some shields with have a blue that says..Critical # (%) that means if its 100% that weakens their chance of critting you...very useful for s/s pure int..
