Exploit Fixed (sticky this)

Thank you Joymax for having fixed the Account Exploit on Joymax.com portal.
We are now all sitting back and curious at what you will do to the original hacker who initally used such an exploit. We are hoping you will take this seriously. We are also expecting a rollback. Please note that we made it public. Though we were not the one who orginally exploited it.

We are looking forward for a peaceful silkroad gaming time.
As soon as the rollback occur.

As for everyone who have been hacked during the last week. Fell free to support us for making this matter public. If it wasn't for us, a month from today, account would probably still get hacked. Those getting hacked would probably be called cheaters who used a bot and got hacked. I hope Joymax doesn't hate us too much since making this exploit public was pretty harsh. I am still hoping that joymax have a better communication with there community. At this point, if we find an exploit, we are getting ignored until it become a big factor. As much as we want to help, you need to accept our help and not ignore us.

Accounts got hacked and they still getting emptied now.
Even now other ppl are logged in to them then the owners.

It's a quick patch by jm maybe but come a few days too l8
We will see numbers in a few days. (100s-1000s)

wow everyone is still getting hack and none of the ppl i ask to get one of my acc back can help me.... ppl are saying it dosnt work anymor and i se more ppl getting hack, if somone out there care for others and would really like to help me get my acc back , i would really appreciated, please anyone help me

it got fixed, hack happening right now is cause people changed pw when it was working and waited until the other guy logged out to get on.

no one can change pw anymore

suck cause I didn't gt the time to get some account back for my friend <_< well spermy got his Sperm back though :love:

man those rev6 guys deserve whatever they get for creating that dumbass website. Did it ever help anyone that they go ahead and catelouge all your valuable gear without your permission? well I think it probably helped the hackers when it was time for their christmas shopping. On top of that they do something monumentaly stupid which probably screwed over even more people and try to pawn it off as altruistic. I remember when the gold duper guys tried to spin it this same exact way, that they were "heroes" just trying to right the wrongs of the game... no self interest there and none here either huh guys :roll:

I hope they do get shut down...and no rollback !

They fixed only half of it. IF they know your id and email you can be hacked still..

I have friends who got caught in this so I am by no means a fan. But what rev6 did while not immediatly helpful may have done the trick. Rev6 is 100% correct to say that had this not happened joymax would still be ignoring it and blaming it on innocent users. I love the game and want it fixed badly. But I am not gonna kidd myself or anyone else anymore. At some point while joymax is raping you... well you just have to turn around and give them a swift kick in the teeth to get their attention.

If joymax does a roll back and fixes the problem the game may last a bit longer and perhaps improve. If they don't the exodus will continue. It is all in joymax's hands atm. Will they do the right thing?

Roll back wont fix a thing. If the hackers have the email to the account, it is still possible to change the password.

Roll back wont fix a thing. If the hackers have the email to the account, it is still possible to change the password.

The email can be changed. Not that it matters. The roll back should set the acct passwords back to what they were before the hackers got on them. See the hackers did not know the original pass. They used a flaw in the code to change the current pass without verrification to a password they knew. So yes roll back will help. People will get their gear and accts back. And all the hackers will have if the holes are pluged is the login id and an email. Any smart person on roll back would change the pass and email to fully secure the acct.
