You either like his music or you don't, no really imbetween. I don't remember who said through the wire was a bad song, but that's probably one of his best songs. Anyways, his beats are decent and although he does sample a lot, the way he creates the beats from the samples are pretty remarkable. I've been doing producing for about 2 years and sampling may seem easy but it's not as easy as you think. Only thing I don't care for is his fashion sense really, I mean those white shades in that music video from the sampled daft punk song? Other then that he's a decent artist. Still my heart goes out to him and his family due to the loss of his mother.
