Rollback Yes / No

even if they did roll back, it wouldnt change account info. just items and shit. so if someones pw got changed itll still be different.

Luckily I haven't got hacked, at least yet.. but I know how I'd feel if it happens.. I don't care having to grind 2-3 levels again as long as the good legit people can get their items back. I'm not selfish, I voted yes and so should you.

Ice, I'm not sure but there's a rollback in data base as well, at least in Tibia when they rolled back the password changed to what it used to be if it wans't the same, but then again I'm not 100% sure.

if u think about it, in this case yes JM is losing money because they hackers probly hacked silk buyers, but i dont think theyll do rollback because if those players just start over, they buy silk again, and gain MORE money, its all about money to JM

IF a rollback comes, it should be a server restart on every server.

Thats a shame that they haven't put up a notice that they are aware of the problem and are working to fix it. i don't care if there is a roll back or not, i just would like them to give us some kind of reply to the problem.

I wasnt hacked... and if there is rollback, i'd loose the sp i was farming but then i get better chance for SOX since they will give compensation event too with rollback

I agree it is no solution. and is not fair to other who was hacked allready before. and it's not sure it helps at all to get stuff back through a rollback

There won't be a rollback anyway that's just wishful thinking.

Never in my life have I came across such a bullshit company. From now I play for free, and that can only be a good thing.

I honestly feel sorry for the people who were hacked, but really I doubt there will be a rollback. There hasn't ever really been a big enough event to cause a real rollback. When people were duping gold and shit, I don't remember hearing anything about how people lost lvls due to a rollback. I don't remember any complaining about people losing those sos they found, or anything even remotely like that. So really... I doubt joymax will do anything.

well maybe i'm ok with a roll back, as long as it has a good compensation event with a few hundred percent, as unfair as it is for people who have been working hard lately for a roll back but people who have put more work into their charectors for longer its unfair to not roll back if they got hacked, then again what about some high lvls who are unhacked and put some hard work in too, a roll back wouldnt' be so bad if they had a very high percent event, so, i suppose if i could change my vote i would to yes

ya, i think ur right, the data backups they do are game files only? so that mean ur pw and email will still be diff, so the hacker still has ur account, just with items back on the original character...so he just transfers them again

so lets have a sosun drop event, that will balance things out, maybe have mobs drop 1mil gold minimum

They should not do a rollback. What they should do is fix their website first, then go back and replace the items that were stolen from others accounts.

I will be super pissed if they rollback.

I know 2 of my id's are out (a friend knows 7herions and 2 people know iGods id). So if I get hacked I know its my own damn fault.

Tho i noticed you can't change your password with email verification for the time being so everyone should relax.. at least for now lol

They wont rollback, if they do, many people will quit. I wouldnt be surprised if JM intentionaly is neglecting the "hack". Look at it like this, the more people hacked, means the more people start at level 1 and pourchase silk.

I'm split about my opinion of wether a rollbacks's a good idea. If they roll back all the way to the time joymax portal opened, then all the people who recovered hacked accounts with email verification will be back in the pits.

If they don't rollback at all, hacked people lose their gear/have their characters messed, people who recovered their accounts with email verification don't need to recover them all over again, hackers keep masses of riches and others remain unaffected.

If they make a short rollback, lots of people will be left out, since the exploit has been there for around a month. Am I right in assuming that the majority of the hackings have happened since the explot was made public? I would suggest a rollback to the time the exploit was published. Sure, not everybody wins, but it's better than a month long rollback or letting the hackers win.

For the first time in my sro lifetime, i'm afraid of being hacked, and i've being played for a long time now and it never got to this critical status =/...

Well i never saw so many bots too, and people even become to get familiar with bots, don't care if they are being plvled by a bot, kinda strange -.-".

And one more thing, when i started an euro char till 6d there wasn't a single piece of armor or wep i didn't bought from npc and i was doing great, the thing that cares the most is the lvl, the equip and money is secondary...

I don't want a rollback. I do care for the other users but it's their fault for not keeping their account ID a secret. If you named your account ID as your character name great job! You're smart. I also blame the one that had found this out first. If you weren't such an asshole to spread it around.. well yeah. You couldve went around hacked the sun accounts one by one. I have yet to see a full sun character that is legit.

If Joymax does do a rollback.. they better compensate it for the users that didn't do shit. It's the users fault for being so god damn greedy wanting to hack other users. The users cause rollbacks. It's the users that cause the problems. Gotta love it.
