Pure int s/s nuker 90 Build => Bicheon or Force?

I would go for Force cuz, it has weaken+impotent. Also, it gives more mana (the passive) and more mana is always good for snow shield! Also, it will costs way less sp by begin force instead of bicheon. Also, being Force u dunt need kd's and stabs cuz u got impotent, which make u tank alot. And u dunt need the chains (division + bleed) cuz u got weaken xP. Also, does any1 knows wht will be the new spell in Force (after impotent) ?

Any thoughts-opinions?

I doubt youd be able to kill anyone your own level without any weapon skills, the nukes take too long to charge and can be potted off too easily without a knockdown to follow up with.

edit: also, if you are pure int, you shouldnt be rrunnin out of mp unless the person is hittin you hard like a bihatch. in which case just add more mp to your gear, the force passive is better suited to pure str people

You could tank, thats for sure . Dont forget self heal series. Its true what Erasmus pointed out, nukes do take long to charge.

When you compare the two against a static target, it looks similar. The plan with both bicheon and force is the same, weaken the target and then nuke + other types of damage. Whats different is with force you could tank just as well using snow shield + self heal series + vigor pots; with bicheon defense is more proactive by using kd (shield tech, br passive etc). But against a target that fights back, you can hardly get two nukes in. I tried this but with force up to 72 (impotent doesnt stop stun, kd, kb effects) and my char could only get one nuke and sometimes one follow up shout, not nearly enough to kill the target (the only way I could kill was to switch to spear just before nuking :/). It worked when I used ice imbue against a target that wasnt immune.

Weapon skills might not be as strong as a nuke for a pure int, but the kd does help to keep your char to deal follow up damage after a nuke. The only thing I liked about force that is different to bicheon, is the 80% hit rate of vitals + the distance you can cast it from your target. The resurrection ability was also a big bonus I like being a healer ^^. It doesnt work as good in 1on1, you get more wins with bicheon, but its still a viable and fun build.

Oh and Trice is spot on with plan b, when things dont go to plan and your snow shield runs out.

Yeah just wait until the snow shield is almost out then use castle shield, kd them and run around them in circles until snow shield refills, rinse and repeat lol

I'm a lvl 38 s/s nuker (started hybrid then went pure) and Force is still at lvl 20 for me heh. I never use it.
can play without it imo, and for healing use pots.

anyways, i did more search on it, and it seems to be a fine build. people on ksro have gave up weapon skills on nukers and can still kill a lot

and 60 sword for me seems fine, you still have kd... just not as many stabs but i'm not looking to stab kill just to buy time for pots

lol...force? Rofl...how are you going to kill people? Nukes, even fire bomb, take way to long to cast to kill effectively. In addition Against European characters or a good Glaive or Blade you need status reduce to even have a shot. A hard lesson learned for me but impotent and division make a battle against a glaive a hell of alot easier.

when i pvp i hardly use snow shiled, only when the other person is using snow shield i use it.

I only use Ironwall shield to tank them for 15 secs =P

I go Lightning Chain till i get them with some status then if i get the one that lowers the defense i just nuke the hell out of them usually they dead in 2 nukes =P.


If not i just tank them till iron wall is over and just kd+stab+lightning Chain and again if i give them a status i nuke them again if not again for the kd+stab strategy.

most of the time they end up using snow shield cuz they cant beat me that easy and when i give them a status they run or use snow shield LOL

so i just use snow shield aswell 50% snow shield and i just stand there letting them hit me.

some times they get tired cuz they cant kill me even tho im a int nuker LOL

get bicheon, you get status's from the lightning chain, so whats the use of the ones on force?

also, KD + quad stab at 90 after or preceding a nuke could be deadly

I have a lvl 80 pure int s/s nuker with 80 bicheon, 80 ice, 80 lightning, 60 fire. My gears are +4 with str4/5 int5 hpmp400 with sosun prot hands. I use a 72+5 sword mag86% full blue and a 72+7 shield br18 full blue. The old 70 cap kd kd dstab stab nuke does not work anymore. From experience, fully farmed glaives can kill me in one soul emperor + mars if it crits even once. With snow shield, I can tank against 2 lvl 80s for around 20-30 seconds. With iron wall, I can tank pure str for 15 seconds. This sounds nice, but in the end nukers are crap. I can't kill anything at all. My set up is kd kd dstab stab lightning chain repeat until division leading to constant nukes. This sounds good but they run away after acquiring bleed or division. No point in bicheon if they just run after getting a status. And no, stabs do crap damage. I nuke for around 6-7k on pure str glaivers. Nukers just don't do enough damage in 1vs1 pvp anymore.

For 90 cap, my build will be 90ice90lightning90fire30heuksal as a support nuker with garms and a spear. This build allows high mana shield and a low book of fan storm to kill other nukers and to kill mercs. I won't be able to 1vs1 but nukers are now meant to be support damage, unless you have sosun.

This is my opinion coming from long time experience. Also, most lvl 80 nukers feel the same way as I do except for the garm and spear part for lvl 90.

It doesnt affect the power of your nukes.

The speed of a bicheon attack such as KD is much higher than that of a nuke...furthermore, let's say you're trying to kill a blader...

If you launch a nuke, it might be blocked...versus a chain...where you have 5 chances to inflict some damage, stabs are really powerful as well. The weaken, impotent, etc aren't worth it since you can right click it off as if it were a buff...

If you're fighting someone who is reasonably well versed in in teh force tree, they'd know about that bug.
