I click on the icon and I get a windows error for Silkroad.exe: Silkroad.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close we are sorry for the inconvenience.
And then I hit don't send and it goes away.
I was playing last Saturday with no problem. But there was an update Monday as always. Could the update have done something? I have made no other changes to my computer.

can't start game
I have tried 10 times to restart. I have uloaded the game and deleted everything regarding silkroad off my comp. then redownloaded the game. Part of the error I first got was something regarding server repairs.
cant' start game
but again the computer next to me can was able to get on line for the game. So didn't make much sense to me if it was a server thing.

If you still have the problem foreveryo, I know the solution to it but can't remember it exactly. I will be dealing with that problem shortly cuz im downloading the game and have a hunch that it will throw it again.
Well the solution had to do with some file in windows folder, some txt file. You have to add an URL (http://www.**********) at the end but the problem is I can't remember what file it was and what URL it was. :/ I'll try looking around and post a reply if I find.
This might be it, I encountered some problems and had to download everything again and stuff but well if I remember correctly it was something like this. Go to Windows/system32/drivers/etc and copy the "hosts"-file (and make a backup so nothing screws up) and open it with a text editor and put this under the other ip(s) 222.111.150.111 gwgt1.joymax.com.
This is only for Windows XP
