A Quick Question Regarding Wizards

I have just a quick question for you all. And yes, I've searched (wizard subclass), but I didn't get anything useful. Just a bunch of random threads.

What subclass do most Wizards take? I'm thinking about going Warlock because they have some great-looking skills, but do they usually do that? Or do they go for Bard or Cleric? Or Rogue? Or Warrior?

Take Bard IMO
You'll mostly 1-2 hit mobs ... with noise you can grind on aggresive mobs
and you have some nice speed buffs if champ aggros you so you can run
away ....

cleric is usually the main sub,

warlock is great for pvp, when you debuff some1 then pwn them, but isnt practical vs many players(theives vs hunters) and euros die alot and cleric i feel is really helpful. it saves my arse so many times and im a crossbow, wizards need it so much more.

imo, bard isnt that great, the move speed is wonderfull, and does help in jobs, but you just die so much more, but having 1 bard in a group is ssoooooo nice, but it really depends on how much you will be grinding vs how much you will be jobbing


back to the warlock vs cleric

ive seen one handed swords go warlock as a sub, and they pwn. but the thing is, they have enough life so they can take some damage, they can stand a hit or 2 and then deal damage.

wizards cant take a hit or two, by the time youve debuffed your dead.

also wizards do insane damage! theres no need to debuff an opponent then take him out, you can just kill him already.

wizards also do dimage to multiple things, you dont have time to debuff each one then do the kill.


so for a wizard, i would deferentially recommend cleric and or bard.
cleric gives you the ability to also wear light armor, so if your dying for some more phy def, go light armor.


so basically pick between cleric/bard for a wizard

What skills / skill trees, then, should I get for my Cleric subclass? There aren't any Guides that list any subclasses for Wizards, let alone skill trees that you should get for them.\

he does make a good point about having bard as a sub for wizards, if an aggressive spawns on you, youll prob die if ur not fast :/, especially with buff(assuming your fighting higher lvl mobs), so with noise you move really fast(great for stealth/invisability) and you also have it so mobs dont attack you which is prime for wizards, so i kinda am thinking that you should listen to nitrozz and go bard,


but totally your choice, cleric is also great.
