Hybrid nuke and full int nuke

Has anyone got to lvl 70 doing hybrid? What is your strongest nuke damage?

And for full int nukers, what is your strongest nuke damage?

Edit : Any type of hybrid, including 1:1 or 1:2 more on int hybrids. Just list your level and level of the skill used.

Hybrids don't rely on nuke for damage. They rely on nuke + melee skills and imbue. However, at higher levels, some nukers will add a bit more STR but keep their magical balance at 90-95. In this case I don't think you could call them hybrids, since STR isn't a significant part of their build.

Actually at PvM nukes still the best skill to use. Im hybrid heavy int/spear and i still killing with nuke + lion shout in some spots. I do use spear skills at PvM on orange and red mobs thou cauz nuke + spear skill is faster them 2 nukes.

Zijian, i dunno the exact damage. But i did read "somewhere else" that a 82% mag. balance spear hybrid kills in the same number of skills that a pure int in the last cave room.

I would like to hear other people opinions too =p

Does a 1:1 hybrid perform as well as a full int?

Or 1:2, or 1:3. I'm trying to find a good ratio where damage is a lot and the hp pool is maintained high.

I'd assume that they do, but not in the same way. A 1:1 hybrid will have more HP, physical attack, etc... than a full int character. If you're talking about nuking skills, that's a whole different story. The full INT character will do WAY more damage.

P.S. I've heard the full INT characters are better in PVP.

1:1 both balances will be low i think and this is not good.

Im doing a 82% mag. balance hybrid. But i cant tell u right now if its
good or not cauz my mag. balance "naked" still at 85% (91% with the set). Right now i can 1 hit pure Ints if his shield does not blocks. Vs pure STR i can win sometimes but still lose 90% of the time (althought most people i dueled so far have ice imbue and i dont have any item with frosbite reduction so basicaly i get my nukes canceled and some weapons skills too... so i end up doing almost no damage and dying after sometime... if the ice dont cancel some skills in a row, i can win).

I didnt dueled any pure str archer of my level. Only int bows and they die in one SST (freeze and range doesnt help, u can still phantom walk and kill them) or SST + shout. Strong bow + some hits can kill me, but they always die before the strong bow finish chargin. Int bows sux...

Right now i do almost the same damage that a pure INT using Sword+Shield. But have much more hp. With Soul Spear - Truth i can do more damage them a pure int nuker in criticals - yes lol. But im at level 40 and have only the first nukes right now. Dunno how this will be at higher level...

Oh... and some levels ago i dueled a hybrid 1:1 shield+sword. I had 2 levels more them him but i went afk and let him hit me for like 5 or 10 minutes non stop (chains, kd/stabb, nukes) and he could not kill me. I was impressed when i came back and my char was still alive. lol

This is my experience so far. Hope it helps u a bit.

The best would be to post figures. I have got a few figures from hybrids and full str. And surprising, the figures are very close.

With full str scoring 2700 dmg per hit and hybrid scoring 2500 per hit. These are based on spear skills. Bow skills also score almost the same dmg numbers.

The source of these numbers are from hydralisk youtube videos.

However, I have no got any source of dmg numbers for nukes.

If anyone can share, it would be very good.

^ that shouldnt be right... hybrid should do more damage on a hit

otherwise that proves that str hybrid is teh suck, at least glaivers..

I must add that it's just a number range I see repeatedly popping up.

Go to youtube videos and stare at the videos yourself.

Does anyone have videos of full int nukers and hybrid nukers? Or anyone want to post screenshots of high lvl nukers doing damage?

I fought a fire blader pure str 2 lvls higher than me.
I lost 4-3 out of 7.
I fought pure str ice bower same lvl.
I won 4-0
I fought pure str fire glaive same lvl.
I lost 4-2
I fought pure int 1 lvl higher than me.
I won 4-0
I am a 85% int hybrid spear nuker.

I must say nice results, especially when it is thought that nukers must die in one to one pvp.

What are your damage figures and spell levels? It would be helpful to everyone.

You mean AR helps even in nuke damage? I thought it only affects physical damage?

Yeah my build is mostly for pvm (if u notice on the video i'm using a sos lvl 64 +3 spear ^^) but i have a good stuff for pvp and i have practiced it so now i can kill a glaiver more easily than before :wink:

Ur build would be perfect to compare against a hybrid spear build... the problem is we have to find a hybrid spear lvl70 first

In my server i only see pure ints lvl70 till now =p
