Rogue bard to lvl up easy solo. Rogue cleric for better pvp and to lvl up in a team.

Actually if tanking and PVP is what you wanted, go Rogue / Warrior (1 handed with shield), their shield bash is super effective, slow down (dull) and knock back same time on multiple targets. Add block and u are indestructible.
That's build was what I was going to do orginally. But in the end I fell for the speed thing with bard.

Rouge bard till you hit cap or the desired level in which you will pvp seriously, then de level it and sub cleric. Leveling up with no noise or moving speed is annoying.

if you can get plvled like juey up to your high 60's id do cleric since you wouldnt need noise.

then find 8person pts in takla.

i guess his high lvl noise helped at 72+ if he couldnt find share pt's :?

I just wanna clarify rogues die so easily, i seen one of his vids when he was lvl 80 and a lvl 64+ glavier killed him couple hits while he was using daggers, and xbow is even worse cuz the xtreme xbow buff cuts ur hp in half. im not saying its a bad build, i like it and all but u die easily.

well making character for training is like playing single player games-.-
think about fun from pvp and jobs than compare it to fun from training...
i think wasting whole subclass so u could train on high lvl mobs is a stupid idea... especialy when u got glut healing and overhealing which deals 6583 and 5803 dmg even if u r full str and the oppenet got 1kk def and 100%phy/mag abs... wit those skills u can pwn clerics on bless spell and wizzards...

i couldn't agree more. Its a sad day in SRO when ppl think grinding is more important than jobbing. Go with Cleric. You'll last longer and do much better in PvP and when alls said and done thats what makes this game fun to play.

Leveling quicker = being a higher level = being better at pvp.

Thats how i see it when it comes to euro. I sub bard so i can level as fast as possible. Then when i hit a level when i can say " i want to start jobbing now", i de level bard and sub my "pvp sub".

Clearly you're jumping on the bandwagon of "must have a sub right now, even I don't know wtf to do" mentality.
Your rogue is new, play with it with no sub. Then play at least to lv 30 or higher, then you will have a better idea of what you need, what fit your style. Think for yourself, to sub at lower lv is just rather stupid.

And since level 90 cap is coming soon, I bet some people will have 2nd thought about bard. Hey be my guess delevel your "pvp sub" so u can the "grinding sub" again for all I care, it's not me who has to collect those curst hearts.

that must be very boring for you. I must be one of the few ppl who just job when they feel like it no matter what there lvl. I start theifing as soon as i hit 24 on all my characters. I can't imagine logging on doing a 3 hour grind and then logging off. Its that whole "I can't have fun unless im capped" mentality that fuels botting and plvling and turned the community into the sh*t pile it is now. SRO is a game so having fun should be your highest priority. If you play the game for the grind and to be high lvl you might as well just get a bot cause it'll get you there alot faster and you'll be a good deal richer. Its bad enough i used to buy those tickets so i could lvl faster im not going to base my whole build off lvling as fast as possible, thats exactly how botters think and its not a good mentality.

And good work completely interpreting me wrong.

I enjoy grinding. I know that must be hard for you to realize, but its true. I like being in a full 8 man pt and doing my role. I like grinding while talking to guild mates. I don't simply grind for 3 hours and log off. I will grind and talk at the same time, thats why i play sro. People think grinding is so boring, then why bother playing a mmo? I play this game because although grinding is repetitive, talking to guild and union mates is very fun, and i have plenty of time to do so while grinding. The only time i don't talk in union is when im in an 8 man pt, because im ussually too busy to talk. I really enjoy this, and if you cant get the same enjoyment that i do then thats your loss. Frankly i think this mentality of mine is a good thing, how can someone who enjoys grinding and enjoy having a build thats good at it be a bad thing?

As far as jobbing goes, i still do job. I have different characters dedicated to different jobs. I have a lvl 39 char with a bard sub solely dedicated to trading. One day i will level him up, but for now hes my 1* pony. And when i feel like it, i use him for 5*'s with the union.

And since when did i say anytihng about being capped? If you read what i said i said a desired level. For me, a desired pvp lvl isnt being capped, its much before that, trust me.

And if there is a time i don't feel like grinding for w/e reason, i still do pvp. Even if i don't have the best possible pvp build it doesn't bother me. I pvp for fun, if i lose every now and then it really doesn't bother me. Never once have i gone out pvping with the mindset of "i must win every fight".

if you enjoy 8-man grinding so much y choose a bard sub. You get more benefits party wise with a cleric-sub than a bard in party play. Bard is more of a solo-players sub-class.

In my experience if your in an 8-man Pt and you have time to have full conversations with someone the grinding isn't going well. Besides i've never met someone who thought grinding was the best part of the game. I've me ppl who don't mind it, ppl who like the quest, ppl who like missions, but Never someone who played an MMO because they thought the grind was so fun.

Theres only 2 things o do in this game PvE and PvP and your saying you like PvE better than PvP. If thats the case then why try to lvl as fast as possible, why not just enjoy the journey there. If your actually saying you like PvP more then why not just go with a cleric sub.

Go rogue bard, kill people from stealth and run.

People hate that and you will be most hated person ingame xD constantly feared of someone coming out of stealth and run away.

or you take cleric and dont run but fight till you die
Characters: Rogue, Warrior, Glaive
Started playing: During the 60 cap
