One person might think the best inventions in the world are the dvd rewinder and the fly swatter, doesn't mean they are wrong.

if you all wanna say "withouts" then, without the inventions of shelter, weapons, fire, clothing and other simple things we would have never made it past the neanderthal stage of evolution. Screw all this stuff we got now, the basics is what kept them alive to be able to evolve into us.

the topic is greatest inventions, electricity wasn't invented it was harnessed and even still thats not very impressive because you can harness electricity using household appliances....not much thought went into it mainly logic...

lastly no one can record the invention of the wheel afaik, thats like saying the spear was greatest invention it predates recorded history and one person im sure can't take the credit for it because it was developed around the world...

the inventions i choose took alot of thought and alot of time to get right and upon their introduction they changed the world forever thats y i picked them...
