WOW vs SRO?
I've gotten a lot of people telling me that WOW is sooo much better than sro and that sro doesn't even begin to compare to WOW in terms of gameplay, storyline, etc.
For those of you who play WOW, could you give a list of things that make WOW's gameplay/storyline/etc better than SRO?

i used to play wow, got sick of it with the new expansion
And tbh i like SRO but it's true WoW was better, but on the other hand you have to pay to play WoW, so it would be a shame if it wasn't better.
The biggest difference in wow is the diversitie in gear, how it looks and stats, theres hundreds of different items that goes in the same slot, like a chest piece.
And then theres dungeons, where you enter with 5/10/25 people and work together to kill certain bosses/mobs
WoW is mainly a teamplay based game where as SRO is more singleplay imo..

lol then there's euro....
ya i played wow a bit, though it was on a private server and was bugged, but i think it did have a better over all gameplay, though no trade system, the pvp might have been more fun if i had bothered to get higher lvl, but i didn't like how horde and allaince were so seperated, that you coudlnt' be on the same team, so if you have a freind that chose the other only way to play with him would choose to on the same side,
i wish sro had ctf but then i doubt they could pull it off as well

You can't compare real wow to private servers wow. Were talking about racing a greyhound against a three legged chiuaua.

from my exp WoW and RYL are similar [WoW being better] and since RYL pwns SRO i would go with WoW in this case. Although in RYL parties are hard to find in the 6x lvls. SRO parties are easy to find ~~~~~> sometimes

thats why i said though, and yes the private servers are bugged as hell,
over all had better gameplay, and omg the maps were huge, one races region was the size of china and west china, multiple towns were cool, like several towns, i saw enough to know it was better even thru the bugs, and they did manage to have the halloween event on the private servers, though i basicly stoped playing when it came out

Ah, so if SRO had these things:
-better customer service (ie. banning bots, hacking prevention/compensation, etc)
-a storyline
-bigger maps with more cities
-more diversity in gear appearances and stats
-dungeons
-mini games like ctf
-better community(dunno about this, my union is pretty awesome)'
then it would be comparable to WOW. Interesting.

they are good it has large draw distances and the clothing and monsters are very detailed also it has smoother and cooler looking animations than any other mmo imo
Agreed, it has nice graphics. Sure, not the best looking around, but then again it's f2p and 2 years old.
I especially like the looks of the skills.

You can't say that until you play EQ2 >>

i think thats one of the only things that kept me going on that game, i just wanted to see how cool the next spell looked. Probably the best MMORPG graphics ive seen.

I played EQ2 to level 4~ i didnt like it simply because nothing looked like his/it/her feer didnt touch the ground when they walked/ran. other then that it was "Ok" But IMO when it comes to gfx they fuxed up when they tried to make it look so "Real" and everyone looks, i dunno fake? but thats my op. WoW, in my opinion is way better then SRO simply because it has Good pvp options, awesome community [Horde atleast] and just has more all around content. and if you want to be good at sro its going to cost you anywhere from 20-100 usd to be kinda-sorta-good.
